“Driving across country while moving, my truck loses all gears about 10 mi north of Amarillo in the evening time. I get it towed to a nearby transmission shop. Next day transmission shop advises they are too slammed to work on it. I call around amd find Utah, Ricky and the team at J Automotive. They too were busy but understood my plight. I get it towed to their shop and within 30min, they are taking the transmission out. They order a part from out of state. By the next day, they put everything back together and get me back on the road. These guys are extrmely knowledgeable and likely found why i had gone through so many transmissions over last few years. 60+yrs expereince makes a difference. “What amazing people! My husband and I were traveling through heading back home to Illinois when we had a problem with our pick up truck. After stopping at G&M Farnsworth Transmissions to check it out they determined it was not our trans, but actually continued looking until they could at least diagnose the problem for us. “Took my 2012 4wd Silverado in for a TCC soloinod code and had to have the diagnostic done in one day. These guys not only diagnosed the issue, they showed me a picture of the clean pan and let me know exactly what needed to be done and for a third of the price first quoted based off just the code. “As most people know, it is getting harder and harder to find ANY company that provides quality work and great customer service. These guys are in a league of their own. They are happy to explain everything in detail. They always answer the phone. They always charge you what was quoted. They have gone above and beyond numerous times for me. During my most recent visit, they changed my A/C condenser in less than 1/2 a day. If you want to skip the runaround, stress, and general BS of shoddy shops, take your business here. Ask for Todd.
