Route 66 Amarillo, Texas
We have traveled to Amarillo several times before, and one person we have always wanted to meet was Dora Meroney of Texas Ivy Antiques. We finally got to meet her on this trip, and it was wonderful speaking with her about her shop and about Route 66 Amarillo, Texas. I could tell from the first time that I met her that she is both kind and enthusiastic about Route 66.
The store is a really fun place to visit with numerous Route 66 items and souvenirs and also some great looking antiques.
Thank you, Dora, for taking the time to meet with us, and we appreciate the time you spent with us.

Awesome little store, the staff here are VERY knowledgeable about 6th street, Route 66 stores and events. Definitely worth stopping in here to chat and get tips on exploring Amarillos famous main road. You might also find some memorabilia for your collection.

I'm so glad that they've been able to reopen since the fire last year. It's been 10 months, and the work and the love that has gone into the restoration truly shows!Dora is dedicated to the Route 66 travelers who come her way, and will chat with everyone! I love taking pics with her, and in front of the ivy-covered 66 shield.Great stops, good souvenirs and antiques!

Dora is the greatest, I've bought from her and sold to her as well, her shop is incredible and she is the nicest gal you'll ever meet. She's a great ambassador for Amarillo to all who visit her store.

Very good prices. Smaller than the big stores down the street. The owner is adorable and will take your picture next to her antique yellow car.
