I could write a book on the horrible customer service. It doesn’t matter. They will generate some auto reply and nothing ever changes. I’ve been being double charged and cannot get any resolution so I’m dropping my Internet and looking for different cable options. Very bad company but they have monopolies in many cities and it’s allowed. There’s no regulation so nothing can change. Run from this service provider!

I wouldn't advise anyone switching to optimum. It definitely is risky. I switched to them on 02/23, decided to try the mobile service. I bought a phone through them, the lady in the store activated it with an esim, then realized it too a physical sim. So then she activated the physical sim. It locked the phone and I Didn't have service for a week. After that it was some what ok, but it toggle between the two sim cards and cannot Register on a network. I have called customer service and used the chat, every other day since then, and still no resolution. I Asked for my phone to just be replaced, and now they are telling me I have passed the 21 day return window. So now I cannot use my phone without a wifi connection, so if I leave my house, I have no service. But they expect me to pay my phone bill. Worst choice made was switching and now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work. I do not call that good customer service

My sister was supposedly given a new phone and the sales clerk messed up her sim card. She can't even use her phone on wifi. They know they broke it and they keep giving her the run around, but, I will finally get a hold of the right person and her phone will be fixed. They want her to pay for service she can't even use!!! They don't deserve a star, I just had to put one in order to post.

The worst company I've ever delt with in my life. Terrible customer service. Unreliable service. My service has been turned off three times right after due date without notice. I don't understated how this company is still in business.

Service is mediocre and the price of my monthly plan keeps rising. I’m paying $101 a month for just WiFi!UPDATE: I was finally able to get my monthly statement down to $35. After 6 months it went up to $67. Nevertheless, my service kept getting disconnected “by mistake” and no one seemed to care to get it back on. I was without service for about 5 days. But THERE IS HOPE people. I now use Verizon’s wireless internet service and let me tell you.. it’s ALOT cheaper and ALOT faster. I hope everyone looks into it. I cancelled my service with optimun and I’m more satisfied than ever with my WiFi service.

I can’t give better rating because my bill has increased almost 40 dollars in 6 mths. I don’t think I should have to call every month about billing. My internet service is good no lag but I could get higher speed for the same price somewhere else. Definitely not sticking around this year.

Didn’t have service for a month. Mind you we were paying this entire month as we were having technicians come out several times a week. Changed the modem, the cable running through the back, etc. Nothing was resolved. After calling again and again and no one seemed to care so we went to cancel. Took me an hour and two phone calls later to be able to cancel because since we were “loyal” customers they didn’t want to lose us. (What they tell everyone) where was this help/promotions when we paid the bills all on time and many times without service?We started paying $55, then $65, then again $75. Prices were inconsistent with poor service.

Better then the old company but as they switch companys all my info got leaked and had to start paying with cash cause every time I use my card the bank don't trust it and doesn't let it go threw then there cash machine to pay bills broke.
