Had ordered two rounds cakes for my kids birthday paid for them went back to give the receipt to the baker he told he didn’t need it he wrote paid on the ticket so just bring your Receipt when you pick up, called the day of my party the cakes weren’t done she said she didn’t know if we need them still ?! Really he told me he wrote they were paid for he didn’t take the receipt like he was supposed too I’m assuming but the barker said she would get them done in 45 min which I agreed because I need the cakes by 5pm called her around 330pm and told her what the other baker told me a big mix up I guess I glad she did do that for in an hour but this was there mistake got the cakes they weren’t bad but when we cut the cake the frosting was melting and the whole images of the cakes fell off I know they had to rush through to make I was very disappointed and won’t be ordering from there bakery anymore!

Nice, clean, and helpful. You just have to watch out for the Appeal on the fruits.

Out of stock on certain items. United in general pales in comparison to the Lubbock stores, Market Street included.

The store is clean and they have so many interesting things. Not just food.

I’ve been a regular at this location for over 2 years now. It’s one of my favorite places to shop. The ladies at the registers are always very kind as well as the store is always very neat and stocked. The only issue that I have is at the self checkout. It seems to be a constant thing where the workers watch you like a hawk. All I had to buy today were a couple of muffins and some chips yet the older lady who was standing watch made it seem like she had to keep her eyes on me the whole time. Regardless of the fact that there were other people there. Now I wonder if it’s because I’m obviously a Hispanic single mom that she felt it necessary to keep her eyes solely on me. It’s not the first time this has happened either. Crazy to watch a customer that has racked up over 730 points this month, no? Who ever is in charge of management should really talk to the 50-60 year old lady that was at self checkout on Sunday the 29th at 10:55am and tell her it’s rude to stare.

Really big just not used to it and they don't have a ready to go food section like most United's

A lot of empty shelves. Minimal selection on some items, like peanutbutter. They did have plenty of staff. There are better United grocery stores in town. If United can't stock this Market Street, what are they going to do when they open the new one?

I ordered gender reveal cupcakes from the bakery. The first time at pickup everything was wrong. We originally ordered 12 blue cupcakes (6 vanilla, 6 chocolate) and 12 pink cupcakes (6 vanilla, 6 chocolate) and requested them be in separate boxes and discretely labeled. At pickup, they were all mixed in one box. The lady that originally made them had attitude and said she didn’t know which was which and that the order instructions were very unclear. I asked if they could remake them the right way and she said “well it would be a waste”. After the manager remade the cupcakes, they looked great. When we did the gender reveal, there ended up being 1 pink cupcake in the blue box. To me this felt like it was done purposefully. The family member that received that cupcake felt very upset and left out. Will probably never use market street bakery again due to this aggravating situation.

This grocery store does not have any ethics in customer service when it comes to their customers. Corporate has no clue how the management employees talk to their customers. These individuals argue with customers, are rude and arrogant and talk back to them as if they were still in high school. This is the type of low class grocery store market street has become. Not to mention that the managers don't have the mathematical skills to handle overcharged customer complaints. JAMES one of the, "managers," tried to argue with me about it being difficult to refund my money on a produce item I was overcharged for. He kept making excuses like, "we won't know how much money to refund you unless we weigh the item," and you don't have it. WOW! It's on the receipt, do the math! Instead of agreeing to refund my money, they rather commit theft by refusing to return the money when there is proof. JAMES the manager kept making excuses like, you don't have the produce," I won't be here next time you come and you'll have to speak to someone else." He did everything possible to find an excuse to not pay me what is owed. This horrible store overcharges people quite often, and they get away with it because people don't want to deal with their rudeness and lack of professionalism. It's time the consumer protection agency does something about this company stealing from customers because they refuse to pay back what is owed to customers. I used to go every other day, now I go every month out of necessity. I recommend Walmart. Much better customer service.
