I showed up this morning with a flat tire at Mavis on Teckla in Amarillo. They had not opened yet, but Sarah stuck her head out the door and asked what I needed. I said I needed a flat tire fix. She took my information and my keys and got it taken care of and called me later that morning to ket me know it was done. Thanks for going the extra mile.

I was going to have to wait 3 hours to get my tire patched at Discount Tire. I drove straight here and they finished it in 15 mins! For free, and they are so nice.

Where to begin…I bought tires several months ago. I also scheduled an alignment at the same time. When I came back later to retrieve my vehicle, they told me they had taken it to a different location and I would have to pick it up there. So I had to get another Uber to take me to a different location. I had no warning that the vehicle would be at a different Mavis. Everything was ok after that until I had a nail in a tire. I took it in to get the tires rotated and balanced, and to have the nail removed and patched. Everything seemed fine, except I still got an alert when I got in the truck that there was a low tire. I assumed it would reset itself as it was showing all 4 tires had vastly different air pressures, ranging from 23 lbs to 49 lbs. The next morning it was still showing the same so I checked the tires and found the nail still in the low tire. I took it back and they “fixed” it again. About 12 hours later it was low again, and all tires still showed major different air pressures. So obviously air pressure isn’t something they check when they mount, balance, rotate or repair a tire. I went back today to get the tire repaired AGAIN, and was told there would be a lengthy wait. Understandable, but you would think they would make fixing their mistakes a priority. I told her I was disappointed that they couldn’t get it fixed and how frustrating it was to have to make three trips to get a nail hole patched. Her response was I could go somewhere else and maybe they could do it properly. That is exactly what I will do. None of our vehicles will ever be in a Mavis again. Currently getting the tire repaired and the janky alignment corrected at a different shop locally that so far has much better service and hopefully a much better end result. Steer clear of Mavis! Too many reputable shops in this town to be this bad at what you do.
