“The front desk staff, especially Darla, were so sweet and welcoming. They were able to accommodate a late check out, and provided us with cookies upon arrival. The entire hotel is very modern and immaculately clean. The rooms had lots of amenities, from a full kitchen, to a huge shower. The outdoor area was perfect for lounging. The breakfast was also phenomenal compared to a typical continental breakfast. They had a lot to choose from. A very good hotel for the price!”

“Great RV park, right off the interstate. Big rig friendly and tons of places to eat within a short drive! Plus Cadillac Ranch is one mile away! Great location!

Only con: you can smell the cow ?in the air since there’s cow farms close by. But we only stayed for one night, so it wasn’t a really big deal for us.

Making the following recommendations:
For Mexican?: Go to EL Tejavon
For Steak?: Go to The Big Texan
For Asian????: Lins Garden Buffet (great value)”

“Stayed there last Saturday and our experience was so great we are staying again this Saturday! The staff went above and beyond for us with a baby. Gave us a cute little gift for the baby and let us park right under cameras due to a full truck. Rooms were super clean and beds were super comfy!”

“We try to stay at Drury Inns when we travel. The Amarillo location is a little difficult to find the driveway due to the parkway style road. The rest of the Drury was comfortable as expected.”

“Fantastic room! Very spacious, nice desk, kitchen area and recliner chair. Stayed at a similarly priced hotel down the road on our way out west and this hotel is WAY nicer for the same price. Will definitely be staying here when we pass through Amarillo!”

“This is not a bad hotel... it's nice, has a little fountain with fish you can feed, indoor mini golf and a bar that serves food right there (a little expensive imo). They're renovating so most rooms are nice & functional. A couple of things that bother me are: 1) little privacy: those really thin curtains aren't blocking anything, and 2) Although I love the carpeted rooms, I really wish they'd wash/sanitize the carpet every so often. I let my little ones play on the floor and now they're sick. I can't say 100% sure it was the floor, but the timing fits and the carpet felt sticky when I walked on it barefoot.”

“Very quiet hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The desk staff was very helpful. Dog friendly plenty of places outside to take them on a walk. Breakfast was pretty fresh with lots of selections. Safe property. Good location off the highway easy to get to we will be back when we are in town.”

“The rooms were clean ? and the beds were very comfortable! The people were nice. The issue I had was, We paid for 2 rooms. There was my husband and I. Our kids ages were 15, 13,12,9. We paid for their breakfast when booking. Then we had to pay extra for our 12 year old for an adult price at breakfast. On website 2 kids per adult was free. Yes she is 12 and the said that’s an adult price. That whole thing is confusing and I don’t get it. Breakfast was ok.

Rooms: Clean and comfortable

Food and drinks: There is a lot of good restaurants near hotel and Tesla chargers here too.”

“This place has a great atmosphere, great service, and all for an astonishingly low price. You walk in and immediately feel like you're in an old English manor, you're treated with the utmost respect, and get into your room quickly. They have a great pool, and a good Continental breakfast.Noteworthy details: Well themed”

“Great, speedy service! It was a breath of fresh air after a horrible hotel experience my family and I had elsewhere, and our room was great! Highly recommend this Motel 6.”

“The hotel was an okay place, when you first walk in there is a little bit of a funky sewage smell, but the lady at the front desk was nice. The room was amazing the AC worked so well and was very nice against the Texas weather. Though the other reviews are right the key cards only work half the time, so if you're going out bring BOTH key cards because they seem to always switch out between which one works. Breakfast is from 600-900. The omelette with bell pepper was under cooked, potatoes were hard but just as most hotel potatoes are. The french toast is a bit crunchy, and had no flavor, while the waffles were amazing, though a little thick! I loved the syrup as well! The checkout was nice and easy. Overall it was a pretty good experience.05-26-24/05-27-2024 (First floor room)”

“The clerks were great, super polite. I think the girl was in training, but I have 0 compliants with the service we received. The remote in our room didn't work unless you stood directly in front of the TV, but that's a minor issue. The biggest compliant was how hard the bed was, and an extra pillow would have been great, but for $60, it was super clean and didn't smell, and there were no bed bugs.”

“The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful. Ann was great. She helped me with all my questions and needs. The most friendliest and knowledgeable hotel Clerk I have seen in a long time.Highly recommendedRooms: The rooms were very clean and well stocked and the beds were wonderful.Safety: Lots of lights and cameras everywhere. I have a service dog and taking him out in the middle of the night to potty I felt well secureFood & drinks: Yummy Biscuits and gravy”

“Very nice and clean place (despite what other reviewers say). Excellent breakfast. The swimming pool from the photos seems larger than reality. But personally we had a very good time, the staff is very kind.

Rooms: Spacious and very clean

Safety: Good level of security”

“I would love to give everything a 5-star rating, but sadly, my nonsmoking room didn't smell that way when I checked in. There wasn't anything that the staff could have done. The sauna was drained, and the spa wasn't operational. The carpet in our room had a very large tear in it, and the pipes in the shower moved when I turned it on and off.The desk manager was fantastic with our later check-in and was very accommodating by giving us information we might need immediately. The room was nice and cold for being in Texas. The indoor pool was nice and warm but very cloudy and burned badly when I got splashed in the face by the water.Overall the staff was amazing, the room was subpar, and the pool was a bit concerning.Rooms: The room was nice and cold for being in Texas, but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke when we got checked in (Growing up in the 90s it is a smell I know far too well.) The carpet had a very large gash in it near the 2nd queen bed. The shower was hot but the pluming was a bit sketchy. The shower head pulled out of the wall when we were trying to adjust the pressure by about an inch.”

“This was neither business or pleasure. I was moving and we stopped for the nightRooms: Clean and plenty of room. Bed is firm.Noteworthy details: They don't leave those tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion and the tiny skin drying soap bar. They have pump bottles attached to the wall. Didn't have to make coffee on the bathroom vanity either.”

“Truly are there any perfect Motels Hotels out there? Every one expects so much out of place the provide a service some meet the customers expectations some don't. At the end of my stay headed home feeling well rested and rejuvenated. The staff was amazing the room was clean with no odor or bedbugs. What else can we really expect? My needs and questions were met. I seen changes being made at this place constantly up until around 5 pm. All motels are governed by an owner if they have good management skills you will see it in the quality of service right away... I heard some really good ideas during my stay here these ideas will definitely bring me back in the future.”

“Had double queen room. Room is big as it has a seating area. You would want to get 3rd floor. Elevators operated fast. Nice lobby. Good value for the money (paid $130 per night). Although it's right off I-40, I don't hear any noise which is quite nice. 5-10 mins drive from various restaurants.”

“They're obviously working on the rooms. Holes in the wall. Older carpet... BUT the room is clean and the staff is amazing. The outside doors are our preference and the parking was very convenient! And this area is safe!..Safety: Commercial area with no riff raff.Walkability: Good restaurants and accessible retailer close.”
