Hilton Garden Inn Amarillo offers a range of experiences for its guests, with notable strengths and areas for improvement. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the rooms and the overall pleasant stay. However, some guests reported discomfort with the beds, particularly for heavier individuals, and noted slight road noise that affected light sleepers. Service experiences vary significantly; while some guests praised the outstanding service provided by staff members, especially one named Pamela, others pointed out deficiencies in responsiveness and attention, particularly during busy times. Issues like icy walkways and long wait times at check-in were mentioned, leading to frustration for some visitors. The breakfast, while not included in the stay, received positive remarks for its quality. Additionally, guests encountered maintenance issues, such as malfunctioning ice machines and elevators. Despite these challenges, the hotel remains a preferred stop for some travelers looking for a clean and quiet place to rest during their journeys. Overall, Hilton Garden Inn Amarillo provides a mix of commendable service and necessary improvements, making it a location worth considering for future stays.
The service was really nice and the room was really clean. Stayed in a 2 queen and the beds were a little uncomfortable. Heavier people will sink a lot more and be more uncomfortable. Heard some slight road noise and was bothersome for light sleepers but not terrible. Overall had a really good stay!

My husband and I are traveling to California, we're coming from Florida, we've stopped at several hotels and I would say this one has been the best overall!
