Horrible Experience with app to store pickup! 1st time I ordered using it a couple days ago, when I went to pick it up. The older lady that works there tried to tell me that she didn't receive it. (I got an email stating it was received). Then she said that it was truck day so she hadn't got to it yet. Keep in mind there was quite a few vehicles in the parking lot when I got there and she was standing outside smoking a cigarette talking to someone. And when I asked about the order once she came inside she said that she'll get to the order after she helps her customers; the ones that lined up BEHIND me, while I was in line. Am I not a customer? I had already placed an order and paid for it! Then after waiting a few mins she tells me I'll have to come back in an hour when the next person comes in because she's just too busy (again, keep in mind she was standing outside smoking when I got there. This woman is standing outside smoking a cigarette anytime I go there when she is working. So I don't buy the "she was too busy". So I told her it was pointless to place an online order because she couldn't even give me a time line to when I could pick it up. So I finally am about to pick it up even though it stated 3 of my items were out of stock. So when I went to go pick it up and checked for out of stock items. 2 of the 3 were NOT out of stock! This was Friday, October's 6th and the issue is with the older lady with the long grey hair who's always outside smoking.So today, I placed another online order (have a virtual card and not physical otherwise I wouldn't have). It was a very very simple order. 2 packs of the $1 packs of diapers and a pack of baby wipes. Said it would be ready between 3-4. I get an email stating that it's running late. Really? So I wait and wait. End up having to go to the door to buy some diapers before it said it was ready due to really needing them. Order still wasn't ready yet. 3 simple items all right next to each other. Figure I'll pick them up when I head back that way later when they're finally ready. But shocker shocker, when I got to the store my vehicle and one other vehicle in the parking lot. No one to be seen in the store when I walk in but as I'm grabbing the diapers, guess who is there standing in the aisle? The same older grey haired lady who has never once acknowledged me coming in or going out of the store and the one who gave me issues with my first pick up order. And then I get home and see I have an email that my pick up order was canceled by Dollar General. Why? Because I said all the items there when I was there. This lady is absolutely horrible at customer service and doing her job. I am newer to the area but everyone I've met here who frequents that Dollar General refers to her at the b****y lady who's always outsidesmoking. She definitely needs a retrain on customer service and apparently handling pickup order, especially extremely simple ones. People use that service for convenience or time management but she did not make either one of my pickup experiences a good one. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!

A whole bunch of employees standing around, talking about highly inappropriate things. Very unprofessional and I was disgusted in the behavior! Not a place to bring a child in!!

This was once a very good store up till about 6 months ago, new manager .. new crew,, and everything stays in boxs and store is filthy, out here its the closet thing around to get anything instead of going into amarillo, I now go into amarillo once again because of the rude people working there.

When I go in there to buy certain things they don't have them. The store is poorly stocked. And now they are shutdown by the health department. The employees at the register doesn't have a mask on half the time. Guess they don't believe covid. Wow they need to get it together.

Clean store, well organized. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure you find what you need. Staff is also very positive and encouraging. I felt like I was visiting family and it was my first time there!
