This has been my favorite Dollar General until Sunday, June 2, 2024. I went in to purchase snacks, I'm on my phone, looking around, shopping, when I was approached by the male cashier. His appearance was dirty & untidy. He tells me that I cannot bring a big purse into the store. No backpacks or large purses. New policy. He went on to ask if I would allow him to TAKE my purse to the register while I shopped. I gave it to him, in shock, but followed him right on to the register. I don't know if you're gonna steal out of my bag or what! He's taken my expensive purse and put it on their dirty floor. It's canary yellow in color as well. I told him don't put no one else's purse on their dirty floor. But the kicker is, as I left after checking out, I turn around and see a "white woman" with a bag as large as mine still with her's in her basket. I went back in the store and asked him about it. His simple answer was, he didn't see her. Imagine that! I asked him, why didn't he run her down in the store like he did me???!! Rules are for EVERYONE. Not at your discretion and for WHOM you feel like. Black, white, brown, purple, be FAIR!!! He left the register & came down the isle to tell me about my purse & take it, (me, black woman) and just turned & overlooked another woman(white woman) and her large bag. Unacceptable. I really should have returned my items, got my money back, and went somewhere else. My bad! I won't be shopping @ this location anymore.

Absolutely love this location and they're trying their best. Problem is people constantly destroy stuff, a lot of people don't want to work or do extra beyond bare minimum and when you constantly have to organize shelves just for the public to destroy it, you wouldn't wanna do much more either. Amy and Lupe are awesome and I'm always greeted with a smile and friendly face. They have long lines because again, most don't wanna work anymore so they're short staffed. Great place given the location and clientele

If the pick up option isn't a viable option... Don't offer it. I usually go in and do my own shopping, but wasn't feeling well. Thought I'd try the pick up feature, was notified 15 minutes prior to pick up time it was delayed... Fine. Cool great and then 15 min after the window that they'd cancelled my order. Didappointed

This store told me I could put my son's funeral donation jar that it was on then the said corporate wouldn't let me have it without his obituary so I took them that then the manager changed her story again and said oh corporate wants the funeral home to pick it up. I called corporate these girls lied I don't know why but they said they sent my son's funeral money to st Jude's children's hospital CORPORATE knows nothing I called police and I am getting a lawyer this is theft.period it was for his funeral not something stupid. And she's hateful acted like I shouldn't be upset.

Came in for an extension cord that the app claimed was available. It was one of many that was supposed to be in stock but I couldn't find a single one. Anywhere. The aisles were hard to navigate because of all the backstock that was stacked up all over the place. The shelves that actually had items on them were very cluttered and unorganized. This is by far the most unorganized location I've ever stepped foot in.Won't be back.
