I had a flat after getting off work late and by the time I made it to this store they had just closed. One of the workers, Cameron, came out to look at it and graciously decided to take it in and replace the tire for me anyway. Unfortunately, I had to go home with a different brand but the next day they had my tire in and Cameron had it swapped out, no problem. I so appreciate his kindness and regard for my safety even though they were already closing up. That is the kind of customer service that makes me feel valued and want to come back for any future issues. Thank you guys!!

Was flat-out lied to from an employee at this place about my tire change and then when I returned to point out his lie, he made up more stuff. Terrible experience from a place that was usually decent.

My family and I were driving from Houston to Colorado when we had trouble with one of our tires. We stopped in late in the afternoon and Cameron Cox was able to get us back on the road in less than one hour. His professionalism and sense of urgency was best in class. We truly appreciate His assistance and the team at discount tire Amarillo.

My elderly mother was stranded with a flat tire. Because she was near another well known tire store on Western, she went inside. It was near closing time. She asked for help and one individual walked past her saying he was off work. No one was in the lobby. She walked around looking for another person. Another man came through and said it was closing time. She asked if there was anyone that could help her. He jotted the name of a tow truck person on a piece of paper and handed it to her as he headed out the door. She was left standing there. She called the tow truck and had the car towed to Discount Tire on I-40. They treated her like a queen. They went over and above to make sure all was taken care of in regards to her tire and checking for any other issues in regards to her tires. Thank you Discount Tire for taking care of my mom. Knowing you are there for her gives peace of mind for this daughter that lives in another town.

I visited the 3433 I-40 Discount Tire on 2025/01/03 because my rear driver-side TPMS sensor wasn’t working. I was told they couldn’t relearn the sensors because my rear passenger-side sensor was supposedly bad, even though I hadn’t had any issues with it before. They insisted the only solution was to replace the bad sensor for $60, which I agreed to, expecting the problem to be resolved. However, when I got home, I used my own tools to relearn the system, and the rear passenger-side sensor they claimed was bad worked perfectly fine. The replacement sensor they installed turned out to be faulty, meaning I paid $60 for nothing. What frustrated me most was that the staff seemed more interested in selling me new tires than addressing the issue I actually came in for. The lack of focus on the service I requested felt unprofessional and dismissive of my time and money. I expected honest, professional service and a properly functioning TPMS sensor, and this experience has left me very dissapointed. I would appreciate a refund or a proper replacement with a functioning sensor, but from this experience I won’t be going to this location in the future.

I purchased my tires 7 months ago, and I came in for a check tire light. I couldn’t recommend Discount Tire more. From POS to maintenance and rotations, these guys have provided excellent service. I feel like they truly care about the safety and quality of my tires. Tony explained the wear and lifetime of my tires perfectly. I won’t go anywhere else for tires again!
