Had a check engine light come on, went to this service shop and met by a very professional and helpful young man named Marqus. He checked our vehicle with OBS and determined that nothing was wrong and reset the computer. The service was excellent and I highly recommend this place for service and help. Two thumbs up.

Wreckless driver on I40. I have never heard of your company until I noticed the signage on the truck. I called the local office here in Amarillo to report it, was told the manager was in and would love to speak with me. However, the call was directed to his voicemail and I never received a call back. I guess that is a reflection of how this company operates. I would have given zero start if I could.

As we've been traveling full-time now for over 6 years, we've learned keeping Ms. Coach in tip top shape is very important. But things fail, and we were very fortunate to be in Amarillo, TX and had a cummins dealer & garage next to our campground. We had a engine warning light come on and they got us in right away. Their staff from Tressie who greeted us to Laren Hawkins (Service Manager) who kept us informed throughout the process, & James (Mechanic) who got her fixed and back on the road. You can tell how they care on how they keep the place up. They under promised & over delivered from the the fix to the cost. Cummins now has us linked into their system so every Cummins dealer can see Ms. Coaches history. We highly recommend them for all your service needs.

I took a P4500i inverter to this dealer to find out why it would not start. The unit had only been run 5 minutes in its entire life. The dealer charged us. $297.00 for an “inspection fee”. The additional estimate to repair the unit brought the total to $512.97. My issue with this transaction is that I was NEVER told about the inspection fee and I never signed anything authorizing it. When I asked the service administrator, he told , I should be glad it was only an hour and not the 4 hour “normal” charge. I again objected and ask why they simply don’t have a standard form to authorize a fee. He told me that Cummins is a “several billion dollar company” and it just isn’t done. I guess Cummins has become so large with some many levels of management, that the customer and “common sense and courtesy” no longer matter. Welcome to the new world of service!

Subject: Appreciation for Exceptional ServiceDear Cummins Team in Amarillo,I am writing this email to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding service I received at your dealership. If there is a shop that truly exemplifies dedication to customers, leadership, craftsmanship, and technical expertise, it is without a doubt the Cummins dealer in Amarillo. I want to specifically recognize the exceptional work of Chauncey, the technician, and Laren, the captain at the helm. After a less than satisfactory experience at a shop in Jacksonville, Florida, I was relieved to have Chauncey and Laren save the day. They not only had to redo the work that was previously done, but they also ensured that I was back on the road in no time.Today, I made the decision not to let anyone else touch my truck, and I drove with the check engine light on all the way to Amarillo, knowing that I would receive top-notch service from the best technicians in the nation. Once again, I was greeted with respect, and my chosen technician skillfully completed the repairs. Thanks to your team's expertise, I am now back on the road with confidence.I highly recommend your dealership to any owner-operator or small business owner in need of reliable and exceptional service. The dedication that Chauncey, Laren, and the entire team demonstrate towards their customers is truly commendable, and they have certainly set a high standard for others in the industry.Thank you once again for the amazing work you do.Sincerely,Steve PelaezSuddath Van Lines

The staff was very rude and unwilling to address our problem. Avoid this place at all costs. I wrote a letter to the manager and got anything that addressed my complaint.

Very disappointed with this company. We are from California and trying to get back home. Our Tiffin Diesel Pusher is having issues with the check engine light and we are losing power. The guy at this place told me it’s a 4 week wait to even get to us. What happened to customer service for emergencies. I do not recommend this place if you are traveling and have an issue with your rig.

What a piece of $*%# this place is. My bus had issues with the regen and I figured I would bring it to Cummins since Cummins is a top rated dealer after all right? WRONG! I requested service and to inspect the bus to make sure everything checked out since I was heading to Phoenix, AZ. After stopping by and speaking with Laren the service advisor assigned to assist he reassured me he will take care of my problem. After wasting a day there I decided to catch a flight back to Phoenix and let them do what they need to do and do it correctly before I would hit the road again as I did not want to have any more breakdowns. After two weeks and over 7k spent I finally get word from Laren that my bus is ready to go. I book a flight back go start the bus only to find out there's now two check engine lights on. I went to service and right away they sent a tech plugged the bus OBD to see what reading they were getting to only tell me hey no big deal since we worked on your DOC, PDF filter and such we had to drain your radar so they forgot to put coolant in it. I'm like wtf how do you forget to put coolant in a radiator? But brushed it off since it was a minor mistake and got on the road. I drove about 100 miles and check engine light comes back again along with overhearing message. At that point I contacted the dealership again and said wtf did you guys do since you had my bus for over 2 weeks to only break down again? The manager Dave Gentry reached out and said take it to the nearest Cummins dealer and if it's something they screwed up they would take care of it. I'm annoyed but I said ok, I make it to Albuquerque, NM park the bus at Cummins get a hotel and the next morning I go in and spoke with service to try to figure out what the heck is going on. After waiting all day they finally tell me the work performed on the bus was done incorrectly; they used the wrong parts and also overfilled my radiator with coolant they had to drain 5 and half gallons of extra coolant from the radiator and now had to over night a part since it was not available locally. I said ok; got another hotel room took another Uber to and from the hotel but I said as long as it gets taken care of I'm good. Now; the bus has been at two different Cummins dealers. Dave took care of the bill and again I asked the Albuquerque location to look over everything to make sure it was all good because I did not want to break down again! They did and after getting the clear I was able to get back on the road. Now between NM and AZ my bus was overheating I called Dave again and said look I don't know what the hell is going on but something is not right with my bus and it's still overheating and having issues. He then tells me stop at the next dealer and have them check it out and we will go from there. It's now 3 dealers over 4 weeks in the shop to only get the BS from Dave that now they don't want to pay for damages caused by their service techs. The Phoenix location is telling me I have a coolant leak, bad radiator and few other things totally to $10,000! I told them to reach out to Dave and now that he see the damages caused by his service techs he wants to accept zero responsibility. Your shop drained the coolant they messed with my bus and user incorrect parts and caused me a great amount of stress and lost of revenue. I asked both shops to take a look at everything and let me know if they're anything else wrong so I could address it and now all of a sudden you try to say that it was something that was preexisting? But drove from Missouri to Amarillo, Tx and my bus didn't over heat and now it magically broke down after driving about 100 miles after it was in your shop for 2 weeks? I don't think so. You are a scumb@&, your team is dishonest, you rip people off and don't even do the job correctly after you were paid premium rates. Everyone that reads this stay the f%# away from Cummins Amarillo they are crooks and don't know what the hell they are doing. Will be filling a civil complaint and saw su

Brandon in parts department helped us tremendously. Our shop had been searching for a part for about a week when I got in touch with Brandon. He worked on trying to find this part for us for two days and was successful. He was also great about keeping us updated as he was searching. Hands down best customer service we have experienced. Thanks again!

Laren the service Administrator understood my issue with the generator & Kyle the service tech were great. I explained what was going on with the generator & what we had done to it, Kyle kept me up to date on the progress he was doing & what the next steps were to be done. Service here was excellent & the fact that they always kept us informed was appreciated.
