It's terrible for my folks who stayed here from iut of state for a wedding.1. They were on the 3rd floor and the 2nd day into a 5 day trip the elevator didn't work. Told the front desk and all she said was "oh, I didn't know, and the manager would have to take care of it. When we asked when thus manager would be in, she claimed she didn't know they just come in whenever they Want?!2. The phone didn't work3. The TV had no signal4. Zero customer service except the gal that helped with TV5. Zero monies back for the frustration6. Never AGAINMyself and 5 others included will NEVER stay her at any other crazy Comfort Inn again

Last time we stayed across the street at motel 6. That was a horrible experience. Comfort Suites is 100% better. Service was great. The room was wonderful and very clean. This will be the place we stay when ever in town.Rooms: Big nice and clean

I was really surprised and disappointed at my stay. Never has staff entered my room with a clear do not disturb sign. My room was entered SEVERAL TIMES. I started to notice missing things. I was beginning to feel as if someone was entering my room WITHOUT PERMISSION so i set up traps which only confirmed my suspicion. Staff had been helping themselves to my things. No safes provided. Concerns not addressed and this happened everyday of my stay despite my clear desire for no one to enter. I clean my own room. When i threw a fit regarding missing money from my room I was told that complaints were received about "strange smells" coming from my room and I was kicked out on the spot. Now they are trying to keep a the security deposit even though I gave the room back cleaner than received. The rooms would have been decent if they had been cleaned properly. The bed had old puke down the side, the tub had stranger hair, but most disturbing was the amount of mold in this building. My room had some form of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The mold extended to common ares like the stairwell and breakfast area. The elevator almost closed on another person and once went up floors with the door completely open. Do not get me started on the terrible treatment of smokers. They provide one area of which there is no cover from weather or wind. I paid 3$ for a bottle of Coke to discover that it tasted strange because it had expired months ago. I asked to trade only to discover the orange juice had expired 4 months before and NOTHING provided in that cooler wasn't expired. They have no other vending so expired or nothing were the options provided. The pool was closed as it was in terrible disarray. I have never in my many many stays at various hotels ever experienced treatment like this! Beware this hotel it is run by a terrible little man who appeared to have issues with women in general. Service was terrible. Food not much better but the customer service was atrocious. I will never stay here again and recommend you try another hotel if you don't want black mold exposure, rude customer service or pick pocketed. I felt violated on so many different levels after this hotel stay and I am hoping this review will prevent you getting your personal space violated before they blatantly steal from you and then throw you out like trash because you made complaints. The general manager is the ring leader of that circus and I guarantee he is getting a cut of what is being STOLEN from his customers room.

Overall nice and comfortable.A couple lights were burned out, including heat lamp in bathroom. An electrical outlet was very loose, so the radio wouldn’t work. The shower curtain was a bit moldy at the bottom. Big gap under the door - maybe install weather stripping?

Great hotel..love the spacious rooms.. nice staff and excellent breakfast..only thing I would suggest is to turn the mattress in room 102.. it felt a little worn but not enough to give anything less than 5 stars!!

1 WORD: HORRIBLEI was checking in while my husband was parking the car. To sketch the situation, I am a tiny white haired woman. The woman at the frontdesk was very friendly and nice, but she was new to the frontdesk, so when I asked her if we could pay cash, she called her supervisor if this was a possibility, which it was. While she was calling, my husband walked in, standing next to me waiting. Again to sketch the situation, my husband is a white male famous tattooartist, abviously covered in tattoos. The woman checking us in was still normal, super friendly telling us that paying cash is not a problem, while she gets a call back from her superior. And she honestly hung up the phone, shocked. She had to decline our request to stay over night because her superior looked on the camera and did not allowed us to stay due to the fact that my husband is covered in tattoos.We are shocked. This has never happend to us. You should be ashamed.

Room was clean and spacious. Comfortably slept 2 adults and 3 teens. Check in was pleasant but nothing exceptional. Location was convenient for visiting Palo Duro canyon the next day. Would give an overall 4 1/5 stars if that were an option.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn off Highway 27 last night as we plan to go to the Lubbock area.The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. They also had a nice hot breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage. Everyone was nice and helpful.We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. I really wish we could have spent more than a night in Amarillo, and this will be our first choice of hotel during our next visit. The room was very clean. It was also large enough for a toddler to run around and play in.

My family and I got placed here while our home underwent construction work. The room is like most hotel rooms, although it seemed to trap humidity and we never could get it to cool down. The water worked and for an older hotel it was mostly clean. The hallways on the way to the room look like they have had water damage or humidity? Wall paper is bubbled in many areas. There are plenty of bugs (beetles) along the corners. They were dead so the hotel at least keeps up with pest management. We stayed for two nights both mornings, The coffee was cold at breakfast. I had to revalidate my room key twice. One of which I spent twenty minutes at the front desk waiting....writing this review. Asked the continental breakfast lady for help and she didn't seem to know what to do. After about ten minutes she found a way behind the desk and found the representative.Safety: The room latched looked like it had been prayed open a few times. The adjoining room doors don't have looks on them and our door had a hole drilled into...which was filled with a piece of notebook paper.

Hot tub was closed by health dept, the pool was open but nasty; the paint was flaking off pool surface and floating in the slimy water. Grabbed a towel pool side and it had blood smeared on it. Room looked fine until went in bathroom and it looked liked chew was spit down the wall, partially wiped off but still very visible near the floor. Supposed to be smoke-free but rooms right next to front desk reeked of smoke and the front desk worker could care less. Would not stay here again.

When we arrived, our room was hotter than the hallway. I let staff know our AC wasn't working. Someone came up a said the unit just has to work extra hard, since it's so hot outside. It was only 87 degrees outside. Then the unit stopped completely. They wouldn't offer us another room, because we had 3 kids with us and all they had were king units. We had to find another hotel for all 5 of us on a Saturday night.

Overall, this was a pretty good hotel experience but a little less than what I had expected from looking at the pics on the Choice Hotels website. The room was great overall. The pool area needs some work. The front desk staff was good. The breakfast staff could have been friendlier. We have four kids so we are definitely a crew, but our kids are not unruly. We stayed for two nights. One of the younger ladies working during breakfast seemed grumpy and gave us several rude stares after our three year old got a little loud. He was promptly corrected by us and was fine after. With kids it's going to happen from time to time, especially with little ones. Etiquette is important, particularly with paying customers. I got the sense the some of the staff was not super thrilled about working here and that sort of attitude really makes a mark. It made us feel like a burden, even though the jobs of these folks depend on people like us choosing their hotel. Hotels aren't cheap and so I don't think it's crazy to have expectations that the staff will do all they can to make customers feel welcome.One other issue is that though a hot tub was advertised and featured in the pics, the hot tub was apparently shut down by the local health department several months ago according to the posted notices. I didn't see anything about that on the hotel website. The hot tub was a selling point for me, so it was a little disappointing. The pool wasn't in amazing shape either. There was paint chipping off under the water. Some of the grout was missing. The pool area is in clear need of some attention.All of that said, I'd stay here again but I would hope to see a little more friendliness from some of the staff who were lacking that quality. I also hope they will address the hot tub issue and get the pool fixed up. This could easily be a 5 star review had things been a little better. However, I am giving it 4 stars in spite of some minor issues simply because it was a very comfortable stay overall. It is probably closer to a 3.8 for me, but that's not an option on Maps so I am rounding up a little. The breakfast food is good and we loved the room. The value was decent.

I was beyond disappointed by my experience at this specific hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby to check in, the two female hotel staff with face piercings were not professional. They had absolutely no idea what they were doing. By the time I received my room keys after waiting for 30 minutes, I found out they weren’t even working properly. I had to get them re-keyed twice before a staff member tried a master key which didn’t even work on my door. This resulted in us having to switch rooms. The hotel room was extremely cheap and not clean. Additionally, their fitness center was poorly kept and in terrible condition. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to stay. This hotel deserves 0 stars. You’d be better off sleeping outside on the ground.
