Tracy did provide top notch customer service. I really appreciate all of the help she provided, and the information she gave me to make sure I'm ready to proceed with the loan process. She deserves a raise in my opinion because she is exactly what customer service should be. Just make sure your credit is already good and there's no question on the ability to acquire the loan because you unfortunately may not get the right service from the regular loan staff if you aren't the perfect candidate. But at least the higher ups will make it right and that is great. There are others at other banks that didn't show any desire to help until I took the matter out of the banks hands. That alone restored my faith in ANB. The 3 stars is for Tracy's great customer service (and an assistant that was very sweet and helpful...ill try to add her name later if I can find it) but id be wrong to not factor in the others that could have costed me, and possibly you, thousands in lost funds in lost earnest money.

In the process of submitting my application, I realized the loan officer I was starting to work with was not listed on the website for DPA assistance. Down payment assistance. I emailed her and the loan officer that is listed as DPA, and didn't receive a response. So I called the the next day, this afternoon. I was told the loan officer that was on the application already would give me a call back when she got off the phone. Couple hours later I called back. I was told that she had left already. I was not able to speak with the lady who is listed for DPA, she was just telling me to talk to the loan officer I already have. I called the office back just to inquire if she would be able to still handle the DPA and the assistant I was talking with Abigail was being rude and condescending. My credit still had not been pulled. I get instant alerts through credit karma. And through my credit one card app. I asked them to withdraw the application and explained why. I felt like I was not going to get a fair credit review, possibly because I was requesting DPA. And the lady was being rude to me. Approximately 10 minutes after I got off the phone, with them telling me they will not run my credit and that she will speak to everyone involved, I received a credit alert that my credit got ran anyway. This is not only unprofessional but it is illegal. I recorded the conversation. I have proof that credit was not ran before the phone conversation. And that it was ran after. We have always trusted Amarillo national Bank with all of our loans. I don't know if I will ever trust them again. I need the inquiry removed from my credit report. An action taken to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Furthermore, I was promised that I was not going to get railroaded if I let them see if they could offer the loan. My application said my new income for the promotion was going to be one thing, and somehow she wrote it as something much higher. And then I got a pre-approval letter, but on the day after putting an offer on the house I was interested in, she told me that I'm actually not pre-approved because somehow she thought my income was higher. And that was only cause I texted her that I was going to earn more than I expected, and she told me she thought it was a much higher number that was never mentioned previously. On top of them not them not counting the majority of the self-employed income because of tax deductions I got for business expenses. That were not equal to actual money lost in the business. While counting every single expense that they can count, even if it's something I'm not even having to make payments on. I definitely feel like I got railroaded here. And it could have put me in an extremely bad predicament had they accepted the offer already. I have had many loans at this bank. Never a default. Been banking here for years. And this is the thanks I get.

Kelsey Lloyd was amazing ? it was the easiest stress free process of buying a new home that I have ever experienced we where able to close in 30 days with no problems at all!!! Thank you so much Kelsey you are the best

Amarillo National Bank was there for us every step of the way when buying our home! And they connected us with our amazing Realtor Meagan Brown. Our loan officer Rebecca Canida was always there to answer our questions and had our back!!

ANB is definitely the place to go if you want to refinance or buy a new home. I recommend Bianca Ramirez as your loan officer. She was excellent. Also her assistant Hajdi. Thank you both for all of your help!

Excellence is the word for Debbi and her team at the Summit Business Center location. I had read that it's almost impossible to obtain a HELOC from a bank. Not the case at Amarillo National Bank!
There's a dedicated Home Equity Department to ensure precise, accurate and attention to detail for this specialized product.
Other banks assign this to bank employees who just don't have the expertise.
I'm amazed at the professionalism and honesty that I received from Debbi. She is affable, intelligent and non-judgmental!
I actually interacted with everyone on her team and her loan processor (Nik) is the best. His sense of urgency resulted in my loan being processed ASAP!
I recommend this bank over every other bank in the USA.
Hopefully, more branches will open in other cities in Texas.

Wow! We are so blessed and grateful to be able to use ANB for not only our banking needs but also for our home loan! Kelsey was amazing from start to finish, especially given our situation. Definitely will recommend to all of our friends and family!

The ladies in the Mortage department were awesome, they helped me in every step along the way. Kevin Huynh helped us buy our first home back in September 2023. He was knowledgeable and honestly, was a bigger and better help than our relator was.
