I scheduled an appointment to purchase a car. These people called me to verify and then sold my car before I got there. I was so disappointed

Don’t expect to call and talk to anyone on the phone. They never answer the phone and they don’t return messages

I have purchased several cars at Ron Carter Chevrolet. I stopped by just to look at my dream car, which was a C8 Corvette. Didn't expect to make a purchase that day, but I saw the exact Corvette I wanted, and the deal was too good to pass up. This was the fastest and easiest vehicle purchase thanks to Leo and his great customer service.

Customer service here fell down the drain. Unfortunately for us, they can pay to have 1 star reviews taken down. Unfortunately for them, it costs $850 per review to remove.
Ron carter was acquired by a hedge fund and it shows

Most of these reviews are fake , as for ours it’s a real zero! I’d give them negative stars if possible. They do not keep promises nor return calls , a joke dealership in our book . Legal action coming

If I could leave ZERO stars I certainly would. Scheduled my 2023 Yukon AT4 for an oil change/tire rotation. Service rep asked me if there was a service package he needed to know about it, I advised him that yes there was. He didn't ask what plan it was, or whom with until I arrived. I provided him with where I bought the vehicle (Beck and Masten) and who I had my plan with. They checked my vehicle in and started on the work. Upon finishing the work, the service rep advised me that the info I provided was NOT the service package but the additional protection plan so he called B&M who advised him that Ron Carter was not in a shared service plan group. So not only did I double pay for service, I paid more than 40% than had I taken the vehicle downtown. Service manager gets involved and simply stated "yep sorry". So here's the rub, if you are in the maintenance business and you don't know which group of dealers you are in, you should find that out BEFORE you flipping do the work. As i waited for this circus to get an answer, I observed other customers rather unhappy about timeliness of service and an argument about Chinese parts that were used on a vehicle. I will never go back, nor will I recommend this cut rate dealership to anyone.

Mr. Leo Costa and his new orientee, I’m so sorry I forgot his name, were super efficient and helpful! They had a great attitude and made sure I was all set with my new Chevy Trax. All staff were kind and willing to help. The process was super smooth and thorough! Definitely recommend this place! I’ve even received parts from them for my old trade in. Richie in the parts department will get you set up and good to go. I don’t even live in Alvin. But this dealership is the way to go if you’re looking for your next car or needing some assistance with your vehicle.

Ron Carter had my truck for over a month, told me it was fixed, and as I drove out of the parking lot, I found out that it was not fixed. It is also nearly impossible to get anyone in GMC service to answer the phone. I had to call an Uber to come to the shop for updates on my vehicle. I have been in the fleet business for 28 years. I have never seen a worse service center.

I will never use Ron Carter again. The service was extremely poor, customer service was beyond terrible. Each time I called for an update, I ended up owing additional money. Extremely disappointed in the service I received. I will share with whomever I can, to NEVER use Ron Carter.

A few years back Ron Carter got us for 3000 dollars for extended warranty on a vehicle for under 100,000 miles. The factory warranty was a 100,000 mile warranty at 101,000 the car started shaking so I took it to them for repairs. It needed a front cv axle. They informed me my vehicle was out of warranty and show me a estimate for repairs. I informed them that actually we paid for a extended warranty and the service department informed me that the 3000 dollar extended warranty ended along with the factory warranty. So after an hour of trying to get answers on how this can ever even be possible or legal they informed me that it was actually my own fault for not reading the fine print better. So they admitted that is was a scam, and that they scammed me fair and square due to me trusting the financial officer. So Ron Carter if you would like to redeem yourself and do the right thing reach out and I'll give you all our information so you can look into this fraudulent activity.
