The gentleman that help me at the counter was good. But the one in the black shirt the big guy and the two young ones are not friendly whatsoever. They're not friendly when you talk to you, when you asked them a question they are very cold. No customer service skills what so ever. I get it it's a different time people don't have the same respect as we used too. Customer service used to be a big deal now there's no service. But I will say they are better than Texas City discount tire but very disappointed in the attitude today.

I have never in my life waited at a Discount tire over 2 hours to get ignored and to keep telling me I have a couple before me! What is going on with this place. If they need help get it. Discount tire has never ever let me down until I came to Alvin’s!

Just helped a stranger not get bullied into buying 4 new tires instead of them just selling her 1…let her drive off the lot with a spare tire when she told them she lived an hour away. So instead of them doing the right thing and taking care of this woman, they let her leave because she couldn’t get 4 brand new tires.
You not only put her life in danger but you risked the people around her. She had no idea how dangerous it was to drive on a spare.

Called to see if they could do my tire rotation and balance they said yes then I showed up and had me waiting there and ended up saying they couldn’t do it. The managers kept walking by me and avoiding me instead of them personally telling me that they couldn’t do it. Not professional at all.

First I want to say that Discount tires usually has good customer service and it is a valued and appreciated service that they offer an air station that someone can drive up to and get their tires properly inflated. Unfortunately, I went to discount tires in Alvin to get a flat fixed and tire rotation on relatively new tires that are approximately a year and half old with about 10000 miles on them. I was first told that my back tires should be replaced because of uneven wear and was given a price of $372 a tire but would need to replace all 4 so they are the same rating. I passed because there was nothing wrong with the tires other than a slow leak on 1 of the front tires. Approximately 5 minutes after my truck was pulled into the bay I was called to the desk to be told that all my lug nuts were bad and have to be replaced because they had to hammer a socket onto the lug nuts to remove them and they got rounded off. The lug nuts were not rounded off or defective when I brought the truck in because I removed them with a lug wrench that came with the truck to replace the brakes less than 3 months prior. I told them to stop taking the tires off in case I can’t afford the rest of the work and apparently it was too late and was given a cost of $172 for lug nuts. I told them that was too expensive and they said they could not put the tires back on with the same lug nuts. I don’t understand why they did not tell me or give me the option before taking off all the lug nuts. I feel this is a deceptive act and should not have happened. I did end up getting the lug nuts for $82 because I needed the tires put back on and complained about the cost. After leaving Discount tires I noticed that my TPMS light was still on from the previous slow leak that I took the truck in for. I stopped to check the air in the tires and found the only tire that had the right inflation was the one that they plugged, other tires were all different inflations.

The service is amazing, and they work very fast to try to get you out as quickly as possible.
Micah was amazing in assisting me in ordering the tires that I needed and getting them in a timely manner for me! He also followed up to ensure they were delivered for my appointment.
Exceptional service! I highly recommend this location.

Arrived for my appointment this morning, greeted quickly and they honored the warranty. I was done in 30 minutes with 2 new tires. Excellent, friendly service.

Walk in customer, they gave me a time of completion 2min before that time they pull my car in the bay……..and when I got my car back the driver door handle looked like this!

Michael was excellent. Friendly and professional. He came out to see what I needed and then directed me in the right direction to EXACTLY meet my needs! Installed in under twenty minutes and I was out of there! Keep up the good work!
