I went to Staples in search of a planner. I found the one I wanted, but it was over 50% more than the Target price! Thankfully they price match and the cashier was able to take care of that for me.
I grabbed a coloring book from the clearance section. When the cashier rang it up, it still rang up as the original barcode price printed on the book. I asked "how is this clearance?" and the cashier only said "I don't know." (There were multiples of this book in the clearance area, so it's not like it was mistakenly placed there.)
Four people in line when I arrived and three people in line when I was ready to check out. Only one cashier.

I'm able to buy a majority of what I need at WalMart for less, and they have adequate staffing there. This Staples experience resulted in being told I was in the "wrong line" to check out, when in fact there was only one employee present to service customers. Apparently, we were standing in a line for Amazon customers, which yes, was labeled with stickers on the floor...but there was nothing saying we would be helped if we stood anywhere else. Are we supposed to stand at an empty register instead and hope for the best?? This was NOT the employee's fault, by the way. He was pleasant, and he probably has to tell irate customers about the line situation all day long. This falls on management or corporate policy. I'll likely head to WalMart next time.

Although the problems I presented had previously been impossible for the manufacturer of my Printer to resolve, the Staples Tech Mgr successfully established a way for me to fix it. Result: Problem solved. *****

This is my favorite location. The staff is super helpful. I called ahead to determine if the ink a wanted was in stock before I drove to the store. When i arrived the items were in fact in stock. The ink was easy to find as well as the stationary that I needed.

I really had a Great Customer Experience at the Allen Staples Store on April 28 2024. I definitely recommend this Store to everyone the Employees are all so friendly.

Michael was so amazing!!! Works in the printing area/where amazon packages are done. He helped me with so much ease and really went out of his way to help me! Coming back just because of his kindness and customer service!
