I recently brought my Boxer in a couple of times for chronic allergy issues. My dog is also a biter and nervous with new people. The staff and vet were all very accommodating to my dogs issues. There was no pressure and minimal hands-on with the dog. The veterinarian was able to assess her issues, address them, and get us on to the road of recovery. The cost was also a bonus! Then, add the premier pet rewards that were applied for even more savings! WIN WIN for us all! Thank you Vetco!

We purchase our wild bird foods from Petco in a regular intervals. They are high quality as all sorts of backyard birds love the food.

So, I couldn't find the expiration date on the expensive dog food.
And this dog is my last dog.
Janet at Petco went where the dog food were.
And then she sold me the Vittles Vault.
And then we went to the front and there were an old lady.
Janet is the cashier who has given me a hard time before.
She said she will take care of the old lady because she had been standing there a long time.
But she couldn't really tell the old lady was standing there a freaking long time because she was with me in the Orijen dog food section and couldn't see the front.
She had just walked up to the cash registers with me.
And then the old lady kept talking and talking and talking and I said I had to go.
Then I told Janet that I was there before the old lady.
When I went in no one was at the register and there was a woman from Brazil there with her dog Louy.
A huge dog.
That I had greeted and talked to.
Then this customer butted in that Janet had said I am sorry several times which really did not happen.
This form of bullying out of boredom happens a lot.
Especially in pet supplies places and grocery stores.
It is more a culture that people of Asia could do without.
And I just read the Vittles Vault review after I washed the container.
And I am not sure if I am better off zip locking my dog food or not?

Couldn't find an employee to assist me in the fish dept, ended up buying wrong type plant for Beta habitat and cashier didn't say anything either that I was purchasing plant for reptile habitat but buying a Beta and sub rate to go in Beta habitat. Needed yellow anything; rock, marbles, figurine, feather I didn't care I found one little artificial flower that was yellow there was nothing else anywhere that was yellow. Very poor selection!

I took my Bichon Frise puppies for a wash and nail trim at Petco about 3 weeks ago. The groomer was being so picky about it being exactly 24 hours since they got their vaccines and wanted to know the exact time. The manager had to get involved and approved the grooming. Then, the groomer asked me if they had ever been to a groomer and when I told her they had been to Bark & Purr, she asked if there was a reason why I stopped going…I was like “no” but I figured I would take advantage of my premier plus discount at Petco for the wash. The groomer did an excellent job but said the puppies were giving her a hard time.
I tried to take them to Petco last week for their appointment to get a wash/nail trimmed the groomer only shaved their bums and called me to pick them up. Then, the groomer told me I need to take them to a vet for a grooming and take them every 2 weeks for nail trimming/wash so they get used to going to the groomers. I told the groomer that I do take them to get washed and nails trimmed every 2 weeks. She insisted that I take them to a vet and wrote down names of vet places where I can get them groomed. I asked her they bit her and she said no but they were “doing puppy growls”. Long story short, the groomer shaved their bum only and didn’t clip their nails. Thankfully, I was not charged.
Lastly, when I picked up my puppies, the groomer kept saying that my puppies were big for Bichons. They are almost 4 months and they weigh 8 lbs. Then she insisted that they will be 20 lbs when they are fully grown despite the fact that I informed her their vet told me they were at an appropriate weight for their age.
I made a morning appointment the next day at Bark & Purr and they were fully groomed in less than 2 hours and the groomer said they behaved fine.
If you have puppies, I do not recommend coming to this location because clearly they do not work well with puppies. Quite frankly I don’t think they want to work with puppies as the groomer put something in my file so that I cannot book grooming appointments with Petco on the app any longer.
You get what you pay for and the groomers at this location are just not that experienced to handle puppies.

0/5 Very unpleasant experience I walked in here with my husband to purchase items for our bearded dragon & this poor baby was literally surrounded by his own feces we counted about 6 feces and bearded dragons don’t go that often only about once or twice a day which means his/her tank was left this way for a few days, in no way is this ever okay especially for a huge pet store that is supposed to be dedicated to caring for pets they surely don’t, this is beyond neglect. I can’t begin to explain the heartache we felt from this sight. They should not have animals in their care if they can’t even do the bear minimum it takes a second to clean their mess. I’m going to further report this and I hope they can be better.

I got stared at a few times probably because i had a bath and body bag but not asked if I needed help finding something. The complete store was rearranged. I had a good experience with the cashier atleast and was happy to find dog treats for 4.99 x 4 finally.

I went in to find the best bones for my teething maltipoo puppy and Paul at the Allen location was amazingly helpful! He advised a choice that helps soothe her gums and relieve her pain. She loves them! I was so impressed with Paul’s knowledge and customer service level I had to write this review. Thank you Paul!

From customer service reps to the vets to the groomers this place all around does not care about animals or even being nice to their customers.
For example, grooming today. First time. Called and asked if i needed to bring anything. Made 5 weeks in advance. My dogs are 45 lbs each. Which they know. So it’s hard for me to bring both to anything. They refused to groom bc they were too nervous to get in their kennels and aren’t small enough for them to carry them anywhere. When i saw a smaller dog fight them the whole way in. This is discrimination. It was also never disclosed prior to the appointment. How hard is it to provide something that says if your dog is large they need to be fully trained in a strange situation to just hop in the kennel. I told them i agreed with them but pls disclose it in the future to not waste trips has energy etc. instead of being a good customer service rep they refused to agree with me and even went as far to say my dogs eyes were bloodshot which is a sign of abuse. Slander is no little thing you know!!! My dogs aren’t even a year fully vaxxed spayed microchipped fed food loafs you don’t insinuate abuse just bc a big puppy is nervous. I am so offended i could scream.
