Swimming pools and locker rooms are not clean anymore. Equipment isn't the best either with respect to other gyms in the area. Used to be 24 hours and they took that away as well. Staff is extremely rude. Really no reason come here anymore.

WTH is with the change in attitude overnight. Can't play pickleball anymore without having to pay extra and locker room staff is really rude at night.

Quality of the workers have severely declined. Several workers have bad attitudes and treat you as if you are not paying for the membership. Literally a lady came up to us 15 minutes before closing and kept telling us we have to leave as if we were kids. I have been coming here for 3 years and this has never happened before. If this keeps happening I will be looking to cancel my membership.

Great concierge! Kristi was very nice and helped me check in for pickleball on guest pass.

I enjoyed working out at this gym. However, I went in today to check in and workout and was stopped, no biggie. The girl at the front seemed new and asked another girl what the notification on my account meant and the other girl said that my account was no long active and asked if I was an employee still at lifetime (my mom works at lifetime). I told her it was my mom that works for lifetime. She replied that she doesn’t anymore and that I won’t be working out today, and that was it. Went back to what she was doing. She did not ask if I wanted to sign up for a membership and so I left. All my other experiences at this gym were great, which is why I left three stars, but wow, pretty rude gal.

RUTH is an outstanding instructor! Ruth explains form perfectly, corrects as needed, encourages and challenges. Volume is perfect. ULTRAFIT is my favorite!JOE’s PICKLEBALL Clinics have taught me so many valuable lessons that make the game more fun. Joe also goes above and beyond the clinics to help create a pickleball community feel during the morning open play.

This Allen location is better than Plano, but only to an extent.Broken hot tub is something I’ve heard from others there that has been broken for months and never fixed. No towels available. You seem them folding towels but the never put it in the locker room.Didn’t look really clean when I went there.Overall I’ve visited 3 different locations and they were all less than perfect. And at the sky high prices they charge I would recommend you to find another gym if you’re reading this.Just look at other reviews. I’m not alone in the mindset that prices sky rocket and quality and experience plummets. In 2008 lifetime used to be 24 hours. Today they didn’t away with that. They used to be very clean. You literally would see staff actively cleaning multiple times a day. Today that doesn’t happen. They used to keep their buildings in order today most have equipment issues and problems. They used to have ample staff around. Today, nearly all locations are under staffed.Should be a 1 star rating but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. And taking into account that they are in a better shape (to some extent) in the condition of the building. But does it justify the price hikes? No way what so ever. They are drying out wallets out there and not giving people what they pay for.I my self just recently restarted my membership but I’m considering cancelling. Going to a cheaper gym. Won’t be lifetime quality but at least it’ll have a justified price. For example there is another gym near by that’s 89 a month. This life time is worse than the cheaper gym but at least the other gym has a price that is justified with what they offer.Life time should lose customers just to make a point to their corporate to get their account together and bring back the gym they used to be.Bring back better prices and better gyms.

Very disappointed with the recent policy in the Pickleball. They have started Paid leagues during Peak hours and members cannot avail benefit of playing here. If (being a member) we still have to pay for playing Pickleball, there are many courts available outside. What's the point of being member anymore.

I would not join again. Joined for pickleball and all was well for two months. I could go and play, and always find a game just about anytime of day. Facility was perfect for two months. They would fill up occasionally but could still get a game daily. This week they changed the times for pickleball with no notice. Removing almost 80% of the open play slots or restricting them by age, level, ect.Now I am unable to play with the new highly restricted schedule and still have to pay them $200 for the next month even though courts will not be available to me.Felt like it was a reasonable request to cancel my membership without having to pay for next month since they are the ones that made the gym unavailable to me.I have spoke to corporate and they are unwilling to do anything and said I must pay the $200 to cancel even though I had no say or notice of schedule changes. Don’t think that is the right way to treat your members IMO.

Courtney Goeas, one of the personal trainers there at the gym, will take photos of you without your consent and slander you. I have no formal relationship with this person.Management won’t see to the issue not continuing.Unprofessional gym for the cost.

Aisha was very helpful facilitating my understanding of location access at different membership levels, demonstrating single use locker combinations that have been put in place, and answering my question about membership holds when out of town for an extended time. I was able to resume the swimming I love soon after on the same day. In the locker room, I was pleasantly surprised to see glass door upgrades to the showers and was glad maintenance schedules were posted clearly communicating facility use changes. This allows for planning appropriately when using the guest passes allotted each month. I will only bring guests when I can show off my favorite things. I was also thankful for the flexibility of the swim coach in allowing use of reserved lap lanes while his need was not 100% yet and another patron was using the only lane left open. This corresponds to what I expect from a higher tier fitness center when those with memberships have tight schedules but still prioritize health and fitness.
