I usually don’t put reviews about a grocery store but one their customer service person name MIA made me . She is an excellent customer service person her attitude and her simile just makes you feel appreciated . She wishes each customer and always willing to go extra mile to make you happy and provide excellent service . If you are in the area pls go and cheer her up for doing this excellent job

Mostly good. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Check the Hummus expiry dates, despite notifying employees, often there are some hummus with "best buy" dates long gone (more than a month ago).

So tired of this Kroger. Is the worst one ever been to! No one is ever at deli counter. In fact once when there was someone there (which is rare now), they quickly disappeared to the back not to return. Produce is hit or miss. Mostly misses, strawberries moldy/old. Produce Sale items are non-existent. Bought some ice cream sandwiches only to find that they had all been melted and re frozen. They built all those self checkouts but never have them open. Still have to wait in line to check my own items out. Isles are narrow and congested. Only plus, is they take Apple Pay. I go to HEB now. (Better deli service, produce is fresh, and meat selection is way better!)

Bought what they labeled as "sirloin steak". Meat was half as thick as it looked in the package due to hidden packaging under the meat. Cooked it and was the toughest piece of meat I've had in a long time. Shame on this store.

The produce here is AWFUL. The selections of fresh foods are terrible. Bags of expired lettuce everywhere.

The main reason I still shop at Kroger (Mcdermott) is Silvia's superior customer service. She does an excellent job assisting the consumer. Special thanks go to Silvia!Kroger urgently needs a lot of customer service representatives like Silvia!Silvia deserves to be promoted!

The store lead (or manager) was very helpful and active. He passed by and asked the customers if they needed help or were looking for the specific things.

Fresh sushi and baked chicken always help me out for quick meals. De-boned chicken, cans of cream of mushroom soup, veg-all and top with flaky biscuits makes for an easy POT PIE for the family.

So I rarely shop at this store, mainly because I prefer Tom Thumb.. but sometimes I go and there’s usually a very nice man working at the self check out area. After work last night I decided to go by to grab something with it being right by where I live, and some other terrible guy was working the self check out area. He was very rude to me when requesting assistance with my app not working for my mobile Kroger’s card. And to top it off he narrowly missed my face when throwing his arm over to grab the scanner. Totally unacceptable, and definitely ended any future trips to that store. Crazy when the other guy is always so sweet.. night and day difference. If you don’t like your job, you should be doing something, (anything) else! ?

Amazing meat and bakery sales (1-3 days till expiration but freezing meat is useful)! Abundant produce and clean store, helpful cashiers when its not that busy

The lady at the bakery desk was extremely rude when I went in for my cake that I ordered 4 days prior. All she said was that she didn't have my order and said "dont know what to tell you". I asked if I could pick it up later if she was too busy and all she said was "no". I even showed her that my order was confirmed with a pick-up date. She offered no assistance or alternate cake. Completely useless.

Several different items I have purchased from the store have been discontinued. The excuse I got was they downsized as Mcdermott Allen store is smaller. Its not! These were items that also sold well and had to be ordered more often since both my family and others purchased it quite often. One of these was a very vanilla Soy vanilla ice cream in 16 ounces. The grocery manager said they accidentally ordered the cashew milk in 8 ounces and did away with my 16 ounce on the module. It did not make any since since they ordered it in front of me and got a bunch in after Josh the store manager asked the grocery manager to do so. I am so unhappy with Kroger. Josh told me they would continue to get this ice cream in. Among the items that have been canceled are Saffron Road Chipoltle Cheese enchiladas, Soy vanilla ice cream 16 ounce by So delicious, Veggies made great chocolate chip muffins and a few other items. I think someone was tired of me asking them to go to the back to get them!

poor service.... 4 items we have bought for the last 3 years have been pulled from the module of the store. I dont buy that it was a accident !
