The manager at this location in Allen, Micah, is HORRIBLE. He has NO customer service skills whatsoever, very unprofessional. My daughter walked out in TEARS because of the way this so called 'leader' spoke to her and treated her. She is a new member and was so excited to finally find a gym near her new home but Micah ruined that for her to a point where she no longer wants to return. Him and most of his staff run things the way they want, no structure so patrons get conflicting information.

This place was cool before covid when it used to be a 24/7 gym. Now it's gotten so packed. What does a packed gym mean?? No one retails their weights. Everything is all over the place. Literally all machines are taken during peak hours. I give it three stars because it's extremely affordable. It's a huge gym with plenty of weights and machines including smith machines and squat racks. It also deserves more credit because of the free group workout classes! I just wish that it was 24/7 like it used to be. I think that'll definitely make the gym less packed. I'd feel more motivated to go to the gym.

The men's sauna has to be the nastiest place in Allen and that's considering the city dump and cess pool. This has been like that for an unreasonable amount of time. Obviously, NOONE in management cares that boards are broken, rotting, and looks like something is growing on them possibly, not totally sure I just know it's unsanitary. For $20/month I guess this is what it is. I'm considering other options. I advise everyone to be cognizant of these unhealthy and dangerous situations. ?Fix this! Don't have wood in a dry sauna especially if it's not sealed. Hire some cleaning experts to train your staff and if they can't handle the duty, outsource it. Think more of the people who support your business. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Always seems to be issues with them opening on time at 5am. This was a common issue months back and seemed to get better however it’s happening again. Very frustrating and will be looking for another gym that can do the small things right…like opening on time. Do better.

This gym repeatedly does not open on time and inconvenience people who get up early in the morning to have their time wasted. They have to do better. It is not easy to get up at 4am to go workout to find out when you get there that is not even open.

They need to go back to 24 hours and the women's bathroom has a do not enter sign for the changing room I use to love going here but it's changed a lot.

This used to be a good gym, but since Covid hit the hours changed and it was the main thing that drew me to this gym. Now it's extremely crowded and half the equipment doesn't work

After told I couldn't use a guest pass due to a previous membership I enrolled in a new membership as a day pass was $15.At the end of my workout I cancelled my membership as I just wanted to workout for the day and the contract gave a 3 day cancellation period. At the beginning I asked if I could just use it for the day as I already had a membership elsewhere and they said, "We're sticklers for rules", yet when I cancelled they told me to never come back.Could've easily been a 5 star review if they were understanding or at least not hypocritical. Yet instead they are rude when I invoke my right to cancel the contract that their company literally wrote.Video shows with sound, disappointed in more than the gym.

Just joined. This is a large club with elite level equipment and amenities for the price of $10 a month with a 12-month commitment. There is a $49 annual fee as well. For what you get it's an excellent deal. (Sauna, basketball court, and every cardio and strength training equipment imaginable. They also have a AstroTurf area with a sled and tons of free weights.)

Most of the ellipticals upstairs need work. Staff could care less. If something is broken it sets for weeks with a sign on it. Most of the treadmills show the use and wear and seems the only time they get attention is when they break and of course the tread part is never changed. I decided to cancel and like someone else noted if you quit at the first of the month you get to enjoy 60 days. They will bill you for the next month. They don't tell you about cancellation when you sign up. They are too excited to get you in the door to mention there cancellation policy. I will not go broke over the $10 they are getting out of me for the month I can't use.

Great for the price. Just wished they didn’t close at 7pm say and Sunday. 8pm would work better for most I’ve spoken with. Spin classes are lacking. This is the main reason I went. I still go but have to stick to lifting weights and using a few spin bikes they have outside the room. Good for the price. Can’t complain.

I live in Charlotte North Carolina. Every time I visit family and Allen I come to Fitness connection. This one is by far the best. I'm a professional bodybuilder and I love the equipment here, and the stab is always very kind and friendly. The gym is also exceptionally clean

I started my membership 6 years ago and this gym has declined drastically and shockingly fast. There have been no upgrades and equipment is constantly failing and malfunctioning. Some of the equipment even have rust on them! The men’s restroom smells like there’s a sewage leak and the urinals are falling off the walls. Why charge us a once a year “maintenance building fee” on top of our monthly fee if they can’t even maintain their equipment and restrooms. Not to mention the Sauna is constantly breaking down. I’m canceling as soon as I can and I’m going to look for a new gym.

This location is a dump. Broken equipment. Bathrooms are filthy. There's holes in the floor back by the weight room. Overcrowded with 105 high school kids. Unable to work on any equipment because it's either broken or there's too many people.

I've been going here for years and the gym is about average. Wide variety of equipment - but when machines are down, they are down for the count for a lengthy period of time. This facility has so many amenities which is wonderful, especially for the price point. Majority of the staff is super kind and welcoming. Peak hours are obviously jam packed, but when it's not those peak hours, it's a pretty nice environment to be in. They also offer childcare, which personally was a mess to situate the account (not sure why it took weeks), but (most) staff for the kids club section were so sweet to my kiddo. She can be shy, and they really helped her break out of that shell and made her feel safe.
