Quick review to recognize Hali at this Dollar General! Her calm demeanor and quick thinking really helped us out! She was able to determine in just a couple of attempts what has not been working for us for YEARS in the app. Between her and a great customer service rep at DG, we were able to utilize the offer and quickly were on our way! Great job Hali! And Nina at DG HQ too! Thank you!

Witnessed the manager and check out employee Karen berating a senior guest at the store. I typically stay out of things but the male managers tone was so abrasive and filled with annoyance and anger. After he addressed the customer and she left in tears he then proceeded to stop the cashier and gossip about said event and was just very negative and condensing with his tone when I tried to redirect them to current remaining customers. The customer service has continued to go downhill at this location and after meeting the manager it is easy to see why.

I understand that people want to get home but some people are getting off and trying to pickup a few items before they go home so I don’t feel it’s ok for any store to close early and not allow customers in before actual closing time

The cashier was very rude is a very skinny old lady. I ask her about the downy spray battle dish soap. And she said that the item wasn’t in the cupon area. Yeah the item was $5 each she was right. She don’t have to treat customers like that. The store is a mess and the shelf was overflowing of products that’s was the main problem(basically the item was is the wrong spot because of that). Than she ask me if I want a different option of course I’m going to take another option probably in another store.

You think all DG stores are alike? Maybe in layout and product - but this one has an intelligent, friendly and down to earth staff. Especially Wendy, the manager.. I feel like this woman could run the world! I appreciate the candor and helpfulness!

Very friendly Dollar General store, right here in Allen Texas! ✌️???Ms. Karen greeted me at the door, and asked me kindly if I needed help. “Knowing what to look for would be a good start’s!” was my response! ?Just kidding! Yesterday I came in for a disc lock, and picked up some food items to donate to the church food pantry. {Times are getting a bit tough these days for many peeps, unfortunately.}Always a blessing to meet nice people at retail stores. Thank y’all so kindly! ?

I live like a 5 minute walk from here, so it's really convenient to pick something up when I need to! Except they seem a little shortstaffed. But the service is always good nonetheless.

Everything in there is usually expired or has been left out to long that it goes bad. I reported the store. Idk why they are selling bad products. Idk if its cause the managers changed or employees are being lazy but that is disgusting!!! REPORTED AND SHOULD BE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!
