I hate that I have to write this review but I am very upset. I have been going to this boo dry bar for a year and I scheduled a blow dry on Saturday May 25th 2024. I had to reschedule so when I called to cancel my appointment on the Monday before, I was transferred to a lady that worked at the Dallas location. I told her my appointment was for Allen waters creek. She said she would still be able to cancel my appointment from her end. I didn’t know any better and I didn’t know that all blo locations worked separately. She told me that there was no appointment for me on Saturday in Allen. So I trusted her and didn’t need to cancel a non-existent appointment. When Saturday came around, they charged me a no show fee of $50. I immediately called the salon and told them what happened and they told me the manager would call me back. It took 3 days of consistently calling the store being told that the manager is busy and she will call me back. Once she called me back I told her what happened and she told me that the lady at the blo dry bar in Dallas lied to me. I asked her what I can do because I did try to cancel my appointment and it’s not my fault that I was lied to. She said she would talk to her district manager and call me back. I never received a call back.

If you are having a special event you come see Desiree she is amazing. I was visiting from out of town and as someone with ethnic mixed hair I was worried that my stylist wouldn't know how to work properly with my hair as is what usually happens with me. Well Desiree is very educated in knowing how to work with ethnic hair and did beautiful waves and two braids for crown part on me you would think my hair is straight but it's not. She was on time, offered me mimosas, and is a fun person to talk to while getting your hair done. So go on the save side and book with her. Glad I had a great experience.

Blo at Watters Creek is hit or miss. Ive had some great blow outs here, but the last couple have been pretty awful. They rushed and my hair wasn't smooth at all. Today she did my wash, dream coat mask, and blow out of my mid-back length curly hair all in 34 mins! So it looked as fluffy and untame as it usually does. But the flip side is there are a few really great stylists here who have done fantastic blow outs for me, there seems to be high turnover though because I only recognized one today. Guess I should start requesting specific stylists, but theres no way to do that with the online booking.

I have been sick for a while I am finally starting to feel better and someone told me to treat myself to a blow out for the weekend so I didn’t have to deal with my hair myself so I made an appointment here. I had my blow out done today at this location and it was the best experience that I could have hoped for ? I was THRILLED with the results! I have had other blow outs before and it just wasn’t what I was looking for. Holly was my stylist, I showed her some past pictures of blow outs and my inspiration pictures during the consultation, she NAILED IT, made me feel so beautiful and more like myself than I have in a while! She was very friendly and professional! The ladies here were also very nice, Reyna being one of them, they almost put me in tears by the time I left I will come here anytime I have an event going on or just need a pick me up, also will be referring others as well! A big thank you to your team for making me feel so good today!

I come to Blo a couple times a month. The appointments are quick and I always leave with beautiful hair. A great spot for some self care.

I had a Custom Look - Up Do service here for my engagement photos and I loved it! The half up-do was amazing, and the stylist added the hair accessories I brought in. My hair never stays curled, and this style stayed all day. I highly recommend this location.

Neli did a fantastic job with my hair. I got the deep conditioner with massage. My hair is super shiny and smooth. I immediately got compliments. Can't wait to go back.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. They do not value a customers time what so ever. I made an appointment and they text me 3 days before to switch my appointment by 15 minutes. I could not accommodate this request and let them know. When I arrived at my appointment, what a surprise to find out my stylist was not ready. She said about 5-10 minutes. Fast forward to, shocker, it’s the time she wanted me to change the appointment too and she still was not ready. At this point, the stylist is saying another 10-15 minutes. I know they don’t care I am on a lunch break, but the stylist is smiling in my fave as she cancels my appointment. Wow. Just wow. I spoke with the manager and all she could say was, people arrive late and delay us. I will taking my business here and at other locations in other states elsewhere. I value peoples time. They don’t.
