Worst customer service and no clear instructions given during purchase for their return policy!! There is no sign if any type of instruction for gift card or made aware when purchased the gift card is already activated and once activated it can’t be activated!! I had to take major loss due to this inconvenience and management at this location.. very rude attitude and the staff as well!! I will bot be coming here anymore.. been coming here since it opened!!

I was in this Trudy’s Hallmark today and bought a tiny prayer box with a cardinal on it, my favorite bird, and a couple of pop up cards. Gabe helped me and he was very personable.

Shopping at THIS location IS THE BEST! Bill is such a caring compassionate store owner and his staff is like having a personal shopper. This is my "go to" for making family and friends feel super special. Thank you Melissa, for my most positive shopping event ever yesterday!

I bought my wife a purse for Valentines day. I wasn't sure she was going to like it, so I kept the receipt. She loved it....so I thru the receipt away. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, the purse ripped at the seam. My wife took it back for an exchange and they refused because we didn't have a receipt. LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AFTER VALENTINES DAY. I will never shop there again!

Difficult to return. Expired Food. Unprofessional.I knew that Hallmark is a very repulated brand for greeting cards. I knew that it was overpriced that I paid $8 for a birthday card today. Going with me, My two young kids also bought a box of yelly bean around the same money. When we were about to leave, my kids read and found out this is intended for 13 or old kids, and very spicy. We decided to return it. The box itself is well packaged, colorful and sealed in plastic. We did not touch it. But the clerk told me that according to the store policy, once purchased, it can not be returned, even it was not opened, and its seal was not broken, even just a second after the purchase transaction. We left the store with this unwanted and nonrefunded box. I tasted a yelly bean. It tasted rotten, I spitted it out, checked out expiration date. It expired on Jan 25. I immediately returned to the sore. The same clerk spilled out beans on her desk, presumbly by accident when she turned over to verify the expiration day. She claimed that it was not expired, with the all intention for me to take back the beans she spilled on her desk. Thus she reallized today is Feb 3 and admitted it is expired by more than a week. She still would not give me the refund. She asked me to wait before she could not make the decision, but the manager was not around. How a brand like Hallmark could become this?

Shop at Target instead. Called both the McKinney and Allen locations looking for boxed Christmas cards I saw online that needed today. The lady in McKinney was rude. The Allen location does not do item checks over the phone. It’s their loss in potential sales. I’ve shopped there before, but not driving all over DFW to find boxed cards. Target was close by and had several nice options (also cheaper). I was able to find some seals for the back of the envelopes there. I already had a “Merry Christmas” ink stamp from Michael’s that I use for the back of all my Christmas cards. It’s worth shopping around at different retailers, especially when there’s bad customer experiences. Life is too short to waste energy or time on things like that.
