I dropped my two cats off on a Saturday at ACE Pet Resort while we were going on vacation. When I arrived, I was informed that the cat room was being painted and that my cats would not be able to stay in the cat condos but in 'kennels' somewhere else in the facility due to paint fumes. I was assured that it would only be for two days (until Monday).I asked to see where the cats would be staying and was informed that I was not allowed to see where they would be kept as it was not a tour day/time. I expressed my concern about not being informed prior to arriving that the cat room would be closed for a portion of our stay and that I was not allowed to see where the cats would be boarded.The cats ended up being in the cat kennel for four days (instead of two days) and ACE Pet Resort charged me the full price for the cat condos even though my cats were in kennels for the first 4 days.

This place is GREAT from an availability perspective. HOWEVER, the boarding fee is $40/night. If you pick up after 1pm they charge a $50 late fee. 1 night of boarding cost me $90!!!!!!!! Outrageous. And you need to pre-portion the food in single use plastic bags

My dog has been going to Ace for a while now. He loves it and gets pampered while he is there. Highly recommend Ace PetResort!

I can’t say enough great things about Ace. We have taken our girl to them 2-3 days a week for a few years now, as well as the occasional boarding. She goes absolutely nuts when she realizes we are there. She lives for the pool during the summer. Broderick and his staff are so awesome! We love Ace!

My daughter worked at Ace pet resort, she told me about the horrendous conditions the dogs are left in when boarding. Unless you board your dog in the area with 24 hours video access to check on your dog… you’re good. The area with no cameras my daughter said they only let them out once a day if your lucky and are soiled in dog feces and urine. She was the one that was tasked to cleaning it up and my daughter loves animals. So this was heart broken for her to see. When she addressed the concerns to the manager … he just ignored her.

My husband attended a hosted event by Broderick from Ace Pet Resort. The inclusive nature of the event has had my husband talking about it for days!! So just wanted to give a shoutout to Broderick for setting up Bite Night at Ace! It’s the only thing like this going on in the Allen Tx area! I hope this brings some positive exposure to not only Ace pet resort but to the dog community as a whole.We can’t wait for the next one!He was Impressed with the facility itself (we look forward to boarding & doing some trainings with Ace in the future), he mentioned the setup was nice, the training room had great space, the professional & relatable nature of how Broderick ran the event & the overall experience!

Update from previous review. We spoke with Director Broderick , He turned our experience around for the better! A incident happened with our pup in their care. The staff seemed to give us the run around about the issue. We do appreciate him for his passion for the animals and knowing what he’s doing over even talking about. He is the guy you need if you want things done correctly and properly. We can’t thank him enough for going above and beyond for us. We really appreciate you for putting out this fire for us. It goes to show that they are people who genuinely care about their line of work and the customer in general. Thanks again Broderick.
