“Today 6/29/24 I was stranded on my motorcycle. (dead battery) I was able to walk it over to Take 5 there in Alice TX. The staff approached me right away and I expressed that I was from out of town (hour away) and had no tools. They got me the tools I needed to get the battery out of the bike. They were also kind enough to give me a ride to O’reilly’s auto parts down the street so I could purchase a new battery and got me going again. While I was working on the bike they gave me and my friend waters. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Thank you again to Tristan for the ride and the team for the hospitality! -Ram”

“I actually called this auto center before I made the trip. I live in Orange Grove that is a 25 min drive . The employee that answered the phone was Ericka and she also attended me at the Auto Center once I arrived. I had a battery w/ 5 yr warranty a 3yr free replacement and 2 yr pro rate . I purchased back in 2018 here we are 2020 and I could not find my receipt .I told Ericka I was desperate need of a battery replacement for my VW Routan left me stranded every time I shut off the engine. I was almost in tears when the mechanics told me that my battery was dead and put my battery back in the car and handed me keys and said I would need to return another day when they had time because their next test to see if it held a charge was going to take some time, time they didn't have because they were closing. I explained to them it will not hold a charge I know because I had tried, several times, even a trickle charge and didn't work. They were more concerned with leaving home exactly at 6pm when they close.. I had tears in my eyes I was so frustrated. Luckily Ericka the employee that told me to come in so they could look at the battery decided to stay longer and help me, she got the battery out of the car this is the 2nd time and put it on their diagnostic tool She asked if had time to get me a confirmation whether it held a charge or NOT, I said absolutely knowing it wouldn't and AFTER 30 MIN SHE CAME BACK WITH THE CONFIRMATION I NEEDED for WALMART TO HONOR ME A FREE replacement .SHE WAS A LIFE SAVER. SHE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND DIDN'T APPEAR BOTHERED at all THAT SHE was still at work JUST TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER. SHE HANDED ME A BRAND NEW Maxxx Ever Ready 800CA and 1000CC which was the same as my old one. I was so happy with that outcome, it was quite different than what I expected after being handed back my keys from the mechanic . Thank you Ericka, your A-1 in my book and definitely deserve some R&R for going over and beyond in customer service!”
