I don’t know what happened to this place, but their shelves are mostly bare and the selection of the stuff that they do have isn’t great either. Staff did greet us, but seemed generally disinterested to even be there. We ended up driving 30 minutes or so into Fort Worth to visit Hollywood Feed to get what we needed. Not sure how much longer this place can even stay in business at this rate.

Has been out of Fromm dog food for over 5 months straight. I stop in weekly and am told they haven't been getting their shipments. Yet the manager insists they have had it in stock, what a clown operation. Don't sell certain brands if you can't get them in.

What ever you do. DON’T board your dog here. Our French bulldog was left out in the heat with no access to water and passed away from heat exhaustion while in their care. We had an autopsy done that verified that. I don’t want another family to deal with the pain we’ve suffered.

Shawn and his team do a great job. Always have good amount of Fromm dog food in stock. The groomer did a great job on our Goldendoodle and Labradoodle. We left our pups here for boarding while we went to Mexico for a week. They were very happy and well cared for.We will be bringing them back.

They carry Fromms and are open late enough that a forgetful pet owner can run grab a bag of food in the evening!

Dog wash is filthy - unacceptable. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned for days. Unsanitary. See pictures.

Went in to find items for a client's pets. Shelves were bare. Idk but this place is definitely not how it was from the previous owners. The things I did find were priced high. The staff looked bored. The guy did acknowledge me when I entered and they did tell me that was all to choose from. But then I came here reading the reviews and it's sad. I took my business elsewhere and was able to locate the items I needed. So that's my experience. I don't know how much longer this place will last.

Customer service is terrible. I always feel like I am inconveniencing the staff when I'm there. They don't keep readily stocked items. Left my number with them three times for a notification of restock and never received a call. Spend your money at Russell Feed. Better experience by far.

Don’t waste your time here. Tried to tell me they couldn’t groom my dog because of possible infection (after vet already gave consent to be groomed and assured no infection) but groomer told me they couldn’t touch scissors to a “possible infection” or they would have to throw their scissors away. The biggest lie I’ve ever heard. Metal scissors can’t be sanitized or they would have to be thrown away. Yikes the brains….. they think they know more than a vet but can’t sanitize scissors. Use at your own risk

Upset is an understatement. We have had our dog boarded here quite a few times, and while there were some things we weren't thrilled about, he always came back fed and happy. This last time we boarded him at Pet's West (during the holidays) was so incredibly upsetting, I'm not even sure where to start. Our dog is essentially our child, which is the case for many pet owners, and we always make sure to drop him off with more than enough food, thorough instructions, and we make sure he has his bed from home so he feels comfortable. We typically always call to check on him, which was no different this past trip. We were told that he was doing great, loving play time, and eating great. We were happy to hear that and felt at ease. When we picked him up, we quickly realized that he did not have his bed for the entirety of his stay, and he was literally covered in scrapes, scratches, and a large "gash" on his side. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was livid to find out that he had missed TWO meals. We had left an extra bag of food (as always, just in case) and he had not yet been fed for the night when we picked him up, so he should have only had two bags of food left. He had four bags left, which made zero sense. He either wasn't fed twice, or given another dog's food twice? I understand that having a lot of dogs, especially around the holidays, can be extremely overwhelming, but you quite literally have one job: keep the dogs healthy, safe, and fed. My husband and I tried to have an abundant amount of grace and tried to understand what could have happened, but that all went out the window when we called to notify the owner about how our dog was treated. He was immediately defensive saying it was normal for dogs to come back with scratches, and that sometimes dogs don't finish or eat their food from the previous meal, so they do not give them more food for the next meal (which makes zero sense to me). I can tell you that in the two years of our dog's life, he has never ONCE missed a meal, and he has never ONCE had an issue with eating while being boarded/traveling/etc. if you cannot manage a certain amount of dogs, or make sure they don't get attacked, don't board that many dogs at once! we never received any semblance of an, "I'm sorry", or, "I will take all of this information into account to better our customer experience". Lastly, our dog is fully up to date on all of his shots and check-ups, but we have never been asked for updated records or anything of the sort, which leads me to believe that there are plenty of dogs there that are unvaccinated. I have attached some pictures to show just how horrible he looked when we got him back (some of the scabs had fallen off when I gave him a bath). Whatever you do, just do not take your dog here. I'm mortified to think about what else my dog endured for a week.

Had three different prices in 24 hours for grooming. I'm sorry but it cost $195 to get my dog spayed by the vet and some groomer from this place charges $160 to groom my dog??? Sorry but groomers you are not worth 100 dollars an hour. And that's for a 53 pound golden doodle to get spayed in Weatherford. Just letting people know facts and it took two hours to groom my dog

Boarders beware, 50/50 chance you'll get your pet back in one piece.

One of my closest friend’s sweet pup was attacked and killed by other boarded dogs here this past weekend, and the owner has neither apologized nor called him back after multiple requests. Beware.
