We moved to Aledo 5 years ago and never really had a specific vet we considered OUR vet for our fur family. We just went to places that were convenient. Thankfully, that changed when we went to Vista Animal Hospital with Dr. Hampton. He is so kind and thorough with each visit, as well as his staff! Dr. Hampton was there through our dog’s declining health and eventual passing. It was very sad for us. Dr. Hampton and his team were so compassionate and patient through the process. His office sent us a card later expressing their condolences. We are very thankful for that!
Now, Dr. Hampton is the vet to the newest member of our family, and I am confident he is in great hands!

Very friendly staff. Dr is great with your loved ones, and the resident Golden Retriever always greets people in.

I’ve had dogs for over 40 years and have always looked for the best care for my babies. My miniature Schnauzer had elevated liver enzymes in his lab work and Dr. Hampton was unconcerned. He suggested a special diet for him which I followed for several years. One day, he suddenly quit eating and was lethargic. I phoned for an appt and was told there was nothing available all week. The receptionist said he would leave medications at the front desk for me to pick up. I got the medication that costs $87 and it did not help. I ended up taking him to the I-20 emergency vet and he was diagnosed with late stage liver cancer after they performed an ultrasound. I was told if it had been discovered earlier, he may have survived. I contacted Dr. Hampton and asked why an ultrasound was never ordered for him before? The office response was that they didn’t own one so could not do that. I know they could have referred me to a place that could have done it, but did not bother. I ended up having to euthanize him to end his suffering.He was like a child to me and his loss was devastating. Even after I informed his staff of the diagnosis from I-20 emergency hospital, Dr. Hampton could not even be bothered to phone and inquire about him. I believe his failure to run appropriate tests to get a proper diagnosis was pure incompetence. I lost my baby because he couldn’t be bothered. I’m a Christian and know I should forgive him, but have not been able to. I lost my baby in 2020 and still grieve everyday. I write this hoping it will prevent someone from going through what I have. I would give a negative 0 rating if I could.

They have always been extremely helpful and thorough. Rhonda has a wealth of information and has helped me over the phone several times.

Dr. Hampton is the best. Our pup is 10 years old, mostly blind and has Addison's disease. Dr. Hampton treated him with love and care. He gave him a thorough exam and was knowledgeable about our pup's conditions. His clinic is really nice and his staff are top-notch. You won't be disappointed with the care your loved one receives from Dr. Hampton and his staff. His treatment of animals is the way human medical care should be. If it was, people would actually get high quality care that was spot on and lots more folks would actually get cured. Thanks Dr. Hampton for caring for our baby boy the way we do!!!

We have been with Dr Lee Hampton at Vista Animal Hospital and Rehab for about 2 and a half years now. 3 months ago I had to put my 17 yr old shih tzu down. While it was sad and traumatic and heartbreaking, our vet was patient, compassionate, and kindhearted. He sat and shared his own personal loss with us so I felt validated in the intensity of my emotions that day. As if that weren’t enough, today I received a LONG and heartfelt email from Dr Hampton checking in on us at the 3 month mark. He took time to express sympathies and make us feel cared and supported by his entire clinic. He shared comforting quotes with me that were uplifting and brought me joy. He assured me my love for Wade was obvious and it was clear I provided him with a wonderful life. What an incredible vet to share such things! Anyone that cares that much about his clients and puts the amount of thought and time he did into doing something that he does not financially benefit from deserves my business and loyalty. I’m so grateful we have him as our Vet! He has proven time and time again to be trustworthy and have our pups best interest at heart. He LISTENS to our concerns and has never once been demanding over what is best for our animals. He takes time to explain things until you are fully comfortable making a decision. He expresses the importance of trust between vet and client and values that above all. If you ever need a vet you can trust, you can always count on Dr Hampton!

Dr. Hampton, Aresia, and Rhonda are always so sweet and it is obvious that they genuinely care about my baby girl. They have seen her for general wellness checkups, tummy infections, and performed a surgery for her in just the past year, and I have had only great experiences with them. I cannot recommend them enough!!

They are awesome. The best vet care I have ever experienced, Ever. Dr. Burk saved my dog Jack's life by doing exam that 2 previous vets failed to perform. Dr. Hamilton is great as well and always informs me asap regarding health findings. The entire staff from Rhonda at the front office to Kerra and all the other technicians are so welcoming and compassionate. Doctors Hamilton and Burke answer all questions and never try to rush me out. They obviously love animals and take excellent care of them and their owners. They are truly appreciated by myself and my family. They are amazing people.
