I had law mower issues and the owner/operator diagnosed the problem. He then changed the grass blade at no charge but did charge for the replacement. I highly recommend this place for and an ALL of your small engine repairs. Money well worth spending.

I will never go anywhere other than JR Small Engine. Jake is a hard working, grease knuckle, honest as a saint mechanic who is experienced in everything and can fix anything. Go see him on E. Bankhead in Aledo.

I took in a small pump that would not start. The gentleman worked on it a few minutes diagnosed the problem, fired it up, and handed it back to me and would not take any money. Grateful for the down home honest, integrity, and generosity. You have all my work from now on.

Drove two hours to try to get some MTD warranty work done with this person, as I was explaining to him what the machine is doing and how the left tire will stop turning and drag across the grass and the how the steering wheel binds (I have a Zero Turn with a steering wheel) he interrupts and starts to give me a lesson on how the drive train work (I’m also a mechanic and needed warranty work done). I told him yes I understand, so he drove it around and says it works just fine let me see you drive it. As I was driving it he stops me and says don’t drive so fast. He refused to listen to me that there was something wrong with the machine and refused to work on it.I took it to another shop down the road and explained it to them the same way, and with out even driving it they knew exactly what was wrong with it because they have a more experienced staff than this shade tree mechanic.If you decide to take your machine here just be ready to leave with it still broke.
