“The inside is 98% junk food and heart-accelerating, sugary caffeine-infused beverages. It's he kind of go-to place I dreamed of being locked inside overnight as a child, free to help myself to endless candy and toys.I died and went to Snack Heaven aka Valero IN Alamo Heights. If Snack Heaven is this over-priced, I'd hate to see Ol' Red's mark-up in Snack Hell! It's a stone's throw from our crib. Google Maps has the directions totally wrong from our front door to the gas station, whether in car or on foot. Not sure why Google takes us all the way down to the crosswalk at the light, then back up Nacogdoches to get there. It tacks on another 8-10 minutes and is out of the way.”

“The staff and pharmacists are wonderful but OVERWORKED. CVS CORP is hanging them out to dry by piling more work on them with less staff. I tried to contact CVS corporate to find out why but impossible to get a hold of the shirts at corporate who make there decisions”

“Consumer Value Stores! Eh! This CVS on Broadway ain't too bad. It's kinda backwards from the other stores, with parking in the rear, and the main entrance back there too. It's got nearly everything you need up in here, with a healthy markup over the grocery store. But they were happy to help with some returns that I had. They were fast and pleasant throughout the entire transaction. The shelves weren't exactly full when I went, but the store was clean and well organized. They seemed to be out of a lot of things in certain categories, but who isn't right now? When I used their drive thru for Covid testing, they did a speedy job of getting the swab up my nose and my results took 3 days to come back. For the testing, I had to schedule an appointment, and it was free with insurance. I've never understood why CVS carpets their stores, when their main competitor lays down linoleum...”
