I bought a nice bike here and tons of equipment and gear and I even got fitted for my bike here. It was fine a few years ago.
The new staff here SUCKS. They are not polite and they talk to customers like they're idiots. I had a service scheduled and all the staff does is give you runaround and waste your time. If you liked Bike World or even how they were shortly after the transition to Trek this is not the same store.
10\8 I brought in my bike to see about getting serviced. They said they're backed up and scheduled me for 10\21. On 10\20 I called the store just to double check that I'm still bringing my bike in tomorrow and the employee told me yes. On 10\21 I brought my bike in at 1245pm and they said now they can't get to my bike for another week because I didn't bring it right when they opened??
I was like that's ridiculous I called yesterday. I asked if I should reschedule bring it back another time? They said no, it's here and on the list so let's take care of it. So I dropped it off and left.
10\22 they're trying to tell me I need to leave my bike with them another week. Unbelievable.
It is noted on the work order that I commute to work on my bike and I need it for transportation. I scheduled the appointment and followed up on it and they refused to service my bike on time for some reason. I'll go to a local place from now on. Jerks.

Walked in and did not feel welcome. They don't have layaway options ..? I just had my trek stolen and they turned me down after I requested payment options.

I recently visited Trek bike shop on Broadway and had the pleasure of working with Tim. I purchased a Peloton, but I was unaware that I would need specific cycling shoes and pedals. They are absolutely amazing Herr. I'm older and attempted to change the tires on my sons bike and it was okay but needed help. Efran was so kind and patient and helped me. I love this bike shop they are always willing to help. Made my day!

I drove in from out of town in search of a new road bike. Tim was very helpful and helped search inventories at all 5 locations to ensure I got what I was looking for.

2 days ago, I got a flat fixed at this location, today I noticed a lump and tire not attached to rim, glad I didn't get a blow out, drove very far back to this location and spoke to the manager here about the situation. He tried his best to repair the tire which was a Lil warped after correcting the lip to the rim. PAUSE: NOT ONLY DID HE REFUND ME FOR PARTS AND LABOR, HE HOOKED ME UP WITH SOME NEW PERELLI TIRES FOR MY TROUBLES. I was just expecting labor cost REFUNDED. This by far is top tear customer service in the ALAMO HEIGHTS area. I will be purchasing a new bike at this location very soon great deals here. ?

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff. They always try to sell you what you NEED, not an upsale. I really believe they want you to be on the bike you need, so you keep using it versus you buying something you won't like and putting it down 10 minutes later. Thank you, guys, for all your helpful and thoughtful information.

Shout out and thanks to Jeremy and the other guys. I had picked up a 2018 Specialized Roubaix Expert second hand a while back. And for the most part a good bike, no major issues. Had some instances with rough shifting on the front derailleur though. Apparently somewhere down the line the cable had been routed incorrectly. It still shifted but was causing rough shifts, chain rub. Jeremy got it all sorted out and back on the road. Been using my backup Roubaix, 10 speed but I was kind of missing the 11 speed cassette on those rough inclines. A great shop. ?

Thanks to Eddie and the guys; simple chain swap out. Haven't unpacked all my bike tools and the bike workstand since moving yet and also figured I'd check out the old Bike World location. Nice shop but sort of a shame that with all the issues in the bicycling industry a lot of the small, independently owned bike shops are going away. ? Mostly owned by Specialized (Bicycle Heaven) and now Trek (Bike World) But still good places to get work done if you need it. But I also encourage you to visit the SMALL, independently owned shops left though. Would be a shame if they all went away.

Good price on bike and employees are very helpful and nice! I like how they put the bell on for me and did safety check before I bought the bike!
