The Buggy Warehouse is an absolute hidden gem for VW Bugs! Don’t let the exterior scare you off—once you step inside, you’ll find an incredible spot packed with knowledge, character, and some seriously cool classics. The team clearly loves what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work and the unique vibe of the place. If you’re a VW Bug fan, you have to check this place out. Same as it ever was in downtown San Antonio. In many ways I feel like they went out of their way to recreate that atmosphere in a different location. I don't go here because the price is lower (although often it is). They're pretty far out of the way, but a destination worthy of a scenic drive.

The only dedicated air-cooled VW parts place within 100 miles of Austin we have found. Two guys working were nice, passed on good references for what they didn't have ('57 oval glass), and held on to what we needed for the bus until we could make the drive! If you drive VW bug, bus, Type I, this is your parts house.
