UPDATE!!!
THEIR DOORS HAVE BEEN LOCKED, THEY ARE LOCKED OUT DUE TO NO PAYMENT TO LANDORD!!!! GO CHECK OUT THEIR LOCATIONS YOU WILL SEE THE SIGNS ON THE DOORS! EVERYONE THAT HAS PURCHASED FROM THEM IN THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS HAS MOST LIKELY BEEN SCREWED, JUST LIKE I HAVE BEEN!I I EMAILED THE MANUFACTURE FOR THE BED I BOUGHT AND THE MANUFACTURER TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY ORDERS FROM JAMES ANTONY IS SEVERAL MONTHS AND THAT THEY WERE OWED SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM JAMES ANTONY AS WELL FOR PRIOR ORDERS!!!!!
If I could give ZERO STARS to leave a review I would!!!!! The customer service here is horrible, Ive tried repeatedly to get an update on my order. I've called and called and called every number I could find for them, and I've emailed and emailed and still no response.... I have no choice but to show up to the showroom and pray that I can get someone to help me. I can only assume that my order is still being "made" and that it will show up soon. NOT a happy customer....

What a nightmare. We ordered a dresser and two nightstands from here 6 months ago and are finally getting the dresser delivered for the 4th time today. It came damaged three times and the nightstands were also three months late. I understand delays are out of their hands, but I had to reach out to ask why things had not been delivered yet for them to inform me everything was delayed. Took them 5 months to actually say sorry for the first time. Serious lack of communication and we had to call the moving company that delivers the furniture ourselves every time to get things scheduled. Not worth the discount we received through the designer's promotion.

My recent experience with James Antony Home turned out better than I expected thanks to Sara, my sales Rep. There is no way I can thank her enough for such professional and personal help. Let me be on record to recommend James Antony and especially Sara. I am too ugly to post my picture but it is smiling big time!

Summary: I ordered over $5000 in furniture that was supposed to be delivered within 3 weeks and ultimately took 6 months and 4 delivery attempts to complete (see BOL photos) due to damaged pieces, missing pieces, & no show scheduled delivery dates. I ultimately filed a claim against the company and was awarded 30% money back on the transaction in line with the amount of damaged items and inconvenience. This company practices shady business operations .Detail:I order a custom Michael Amini bedroom set (over ~$5,000 value) that was claimed to be available for delivery 3 weeks after purchase. James Anthony made the first delivery attempt over two months later (with terrible communication throughout the whole process) and came with multiple damaged pieces (their delivery guys pointed out the damages to me and stated JA was aware and approved delivery regardless) and multiple missing pieces. The bed was unable to be assembled for about 2 more months due to missing pieces. JA stated replacement of the damaged pieces would take additional months, and I requested a partial discount lieu of the long lead times to replace the pieces. They offered me $500 off on a $5,000 purchase with 3 of the 4 pieces having been damaged. I demanded this was unreasonable and they needed to offer more, they blamed the low discount on the manufacturer (Amini) and I advised their financial dispute with Amini did not involve me as I was JA’s paying customer and did not at all deal with Amini during the transaction. Leticia, a manager, raised her voice and initiated multiple yelling matches about the subject matter over the phone. I ultimately opened a claim, submitted proof of the damages, and proof of JA’s unwillingness to rectify and was awarded a 30% reduction to the sale price. Overall a delivery that was promised in 3 weeks took 6 months to complete.JA does unhonest business and is ran by unprofessional individuals. Jennifer, the lead manager threatened me and called my phone to simply argue without intent of rectifying the issue of my missing and damaged furniture. Looks of the store are simply deceit.

I made an error, the color we chose was called Tobacco, not espresso. It was a medium pecan colored brown on the color sample (I have pictures to substantiate this). The rest of the info is correct, that the sample had not been updated to reflect that Tobacco WAS the pecan color, but is NOW a very dark espresso color, jet black in my opinion. And I did comment twice to Sara that I found it odd that they named it Tobacco, as that is usually indicative of a much darker color. I said, "I would have named it Pecan.".

James Antony Home and my designer Eduardo Gonzalez have been key to the interior design of my home. James Antony has relationships with hundreds of manufacturers, which to a layperson can be completely overwhelming, but Eduardo guided me through the design process by listening to my needs and getting a sense of my aesthetic before narrowing down options for me to choose. Ultimately, I selected custom dining chairs, counter stools, living room chairs, sofas, and outdoor patio furniture along with a dining room table, side tables, lighting, rugs, and unique wall art. Now, custom furniture takes awhile and the manufacturers have their own time tables and delays that James Antony has no control over, but Eduardo kept me apprised at each step of the process. I don’t use the “f” word lightly, but my place is fabulous! If you want to look like everyone else, feel free to go to the big box stores. If you want to have a home tailored uniquely to you and that no one else has, choose James Antony and Eduardo Gonzalez.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have never had customer service as bad as James Antony. To recap my experience. I ordered a complete bedroom set in April 2022. I received no follow-up and only excuses each time I tracked down my sales rep, Eddie. After many calls and emails I finally received my order (long after my final payment of over $7K) in December of 2022. The furniture was delivered damaged at which time I was instructed by Letticia (then customer service rep and now manager) to take the furniture and they would either send a repair person out or replace the item immediately. It is now April, I have called, emailed etc... numerous times to only get the run around. I am disgusted at the service from James Antony Home Furnishings. I found the same furniture (less expensive) on Wayfair and I should have purchased through them. They definitely have a much higher level of customer service.BEWARE... and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!

REVIEW FROM A LAWYER- DO NOT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE CONTEMPLATING LITIGATION. My wife has struggled with this company since June 2022. Today is March 12, 2023. She ordered 2 identical twin beds. They arrived in July, each bed a different color. Two additional delivery attempts later, we still do not have our complete order. I got involved- I AM A LAWYER. After weeks of trying to remedy this issue and being provided with assurances that the beds were on order and tentatively scheduled for delivery in early February 2023, my wife still does not have her beds. I have made demands for either the delivery of the furniture my wife ordered or a refund. These demands have went completely unaddressed by James Antony. My only remaining recourse is to file a lawsuit against this company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a bed from the same manufacturer for my new home at Stacy Furniture in Grapevine. It was custom ordered and manufactured the same as the beds ordered at James Antony. This bed was ordered in December 2022 and received and ready for delivery by Stacy Furniture in January 2023.

Sara helped us on choosing a recliner with lots of information and quality time. She kept us informed of date of construction and date of shipping. She was spot on when it would arrive. The quality of this Bradington Young chair is great! I would highly recommend James Anthony and ask for Sara. She is the best!

James Antony is by far our worst experience we have ever had. We set out to purchase custom furniture, and unbeknownst to us from the very first we met Sara Carroll their lead Design Expert, we were being deceived. We, too late, discovered that we were being over charged and price gouged. We had almost $30,000 stolen by them, continually presenting merchandise that they kept saying, "this is exactly what you ordered and agreed to when you, signed the contract". We were then blamed by them that everything they did deceitful was our fault. I have repeated reminded them that all contracts agreed upon are a two-way document. To date, we have paid James Antony over $45,000 for which we only correctly received two large custom-made living room chairs, two custom foot stools, a cheap overpriced area rug and an incorrect under padding. We discovered later this is not the correct pad type intended for stone flooring. In their typical pricing gouging. they marked up this $50 rug pad to $264 with an additional $329 "White Glove Delivery" service. The fact of it being wrong pad type was revealed to us at a reputable design store where we purchased the correct pad at half price, inclusive of delivery. Our continually being lied to, presented defective, damaged and wrong merchandise from James Antony began almost two years ago, in April 2021. It is still going on, last time we heard from them was October 21, 2022. The first item we ordered was a $6,000 Lexan coffee table. It arrived and was indeed three times too large for the living room. Yet all along their Design Expert, Sara Carrol, repeatedly claimed when questioned by us, that she was correctly ordering us the "perfect size". All their goods ordered have had an additional added surcharge of "White Glove delivery service". Which in this case of the expensive coffee table, consisted of, an over the road general freight company with their pair of truck drivers coming straight from the mfg in So Carolina. They arrived without tools or know how to unpack and set up. Even with my wife's repeated cautions, they ended up damaging the table, which James Antony ultimately blamed us for. After six long months of demands by us to have the table removed, James Antony sent us a "Repair Kit" for us to repair the damage ourselves !!! A $6,000 custom ordered table to be repaired by us is UNBELIEVEABLE !!! We refused. Reviewing all the " White Glove Delivery" charges, we ended up being charged an added $3,418 for all the items, which if you read posted on their advertisement mass e-mail fliers states "Complementary Designer Expert Service and Nationwide Home Deliver Service" (see attached photo) Be aware also, a standard 50% down at time order is made is required and the remainder balance is due before delivery. We discovered repeatedly that once you sign for delivered items (while the delivery people are pressuring you so they can leave) all defects are now your problem and no longer James Antony's. So, for remaining items, we learned to demand that we be allowed to inspect before any balance due was paid. As of 1-7-2023, they never fulfill their final deliver day which is over 3 months ago. We are missing about $30,000 worth of new furniture now for over 6 months. We ordered two matching sofas after viewing from floor sample in their Dallas showroom. These sofas were meant to be able to lay on and relax, reading or watching TV . The sofas that showed up 6 months later were about 1/3 too narrow and with an extra 6" back rail height. They were rock hard and most uncomfortable sofas. James Antony took away seat backs and cushions to redo 3 or 4 months later came back with them, and of course since the sofa frames were wrong, the cushions were still too narrow and rock hard now had different dye lot fabric so no improvement. We had them removed from our home. At one point in September 2022, regarding a $9,000 breakfast table, their manager Jennifer Martinez had the gall and audacity to simply lie and claimed it had
