We love using local when ever we can but there have tons of issues lately with slow speed and some tower problems.Just because i have been frustrated lately i wanted to give it a four-star but i know they will fix it and their customer service is always wonderful so I'm going for the full 5 ⭐

Ok so some might complain in rural communities but, they haven't been locked into Hughesnet or AT&T landline contracts before, if they had they'd realize that West Tex Connect is a blessing, we run probably 7 to 10 devices using throughout the day and night from streaming TV's, computers, and handheld devices, we couldn't get over 1.5mbs with landline service an paid about the same as our 40mbs package with West Tex

My Internet was going down not running well so they told me I needed an upgrade$$$ more money. I got an upgrade and this is the fourth day. I still cannot get online. I can’t get anyone to come out in my area to check it out very dissatisfied.

Incredible customer service! Our business internet kept going in & out of service, so I called tech support and John answered. He was patient and diligent to help. When he was unable to fix the problem over the phone, he immediately came to our shop and was able to find the solution. We were blown away with John's professionalism and his willingness to go above and beyond to help get us back online! Thank you, John!!

Very upset with our new address change fee! We moved three houses down the road and our bill was $185. When I called to ask about it, they said that they charged us an extra $108 to relocate but didn’t think to mention that when we first called to get it relocated. That amount is ridiculous for that move and they were not understanding at all. Very rude, didn’t mention it until after billed, and not very good costumer service!

I had google fiber in austin. Westex provides better service with much more connectivity and fewer buffering hold ups. I highly recommend it.

Tried to get internet installed for 5 weeks and finally gave up and cancelled. Avoid this business at all costs. Customer service is the worst I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Left numerous messages with no call backs and when I finally decided to cancel the young lady got an attitude and tried to tell me she knew how I felt. I reminded her that she had internet and could not understand how I felt. For the love of god avoid this company. Horrible customer service and rude employees

I’ve been with WesTex for several years now, and never had any issues with techs, or service. I’ve had MAYBE a handful of days where my service was briefly down. Other than that, with router and fiber service, I haven’t had any issues with lagging or random outages. WesTex is the preferred internet over all other services available in our area.

I’m not a customer, and I’m glad for it.I write this review today because I’m fully incapable of getting on doing important business transactions and Zoom meeting with a client of mine who has your service. I’ve been on the phone with him for over an hour trying to work through his technical issues because this garbage company won’t even answer the phone. Their website hasn’t been updated in over a year, and theres NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. It’s 2023… we use internet for almost everything in our lives yet this laughable company is, ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE, closed two out of the seven days a week. So if my internet goes down Friday night (as what’s happened tonight) I’m just screwed till at least Monday.Your company is a joke. Your website is a joke. It’s clear your wildly and overwhelmingly positive reviews (pretty much ONLY found on your website) are fraudulent.This business may provide some form of archaic internet access akin to dial up but “fiber”, let alone getting actual fiber speeds, is a lie.This business is little more than a scam. Once I submit this review I’m going to be making a report to the Better Business Bureau as well as whatever local city commerce department I need to go through.

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Terrible internet and unprofessional customer service! They obviously do not care about their customer base, and their ratings reflect it. Honestly if possible I would give 0 Star, do not waste your time or money here.

Overall Satisfaction with Internet and Customer Service. I receive exceptional service at my home and I have received nothing but excellent customer service from the staff when I have to call with questions.

I have been with WESTEX CONNECT for a long time. Internet has always been good and I have had a good relationship with the techs. I can see their Lake Fort Phantom Hill tower from my house and have let them know on several occasions when their has been an issue like signal strobe lights now working. The only complaint I have is with their billing department! My card expired and after two billing cycles I get a statement with late fees and paper fees. I call and ask why and am told they left a VOICE MAIL?? I never received a voicemail. She got very short with me and sent me a new EZPay form.

After years of service, the only true issue I've ever had has just recently presented its ugly face. This company's rating used to be much higher, but instead of keeping up with times and saving its reputation, they would rather make an enemy rather than a potential return customer.
