***** WARNING FOR FUTURE POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES ***** This old from a few years ago but I think everyone should know about this before working here So I transferred down to this store as a FULL TIME stocker from a store up in Iowa where I was a overnight supervisor. So first thing I was told I would start on a Friday which if you know Wal-Mart polices that is impossible because you want work in 2 different stores in the same pay period and the way they fall I couldn't have because I worked up in Iowa that Tuesday. So first thing they couldn't even get my start date correct so I call them and tell them the police that they should have already known and they say oh yeah then you start Saturday I get down to Texas Thursday night (this store didnt give me anytime to move down I had to do it all in a small car one trip with animals). So I go in to the store Friday afternoon to get my schedule for the next few weeks and then they inform me that I have the next two days off AFTER telling me I started Saturday. Second problem when I when to go check my paystub for the last two weeks when I was in Iowa working as a over night supervisor making over 3 dollars more an hour jt seemed very off so I looked and the person at this store put my transfer in for the wrong day so I would be getting paid over 3 dollars less then I should have been. They tried to say it was my old store fault and that it was something they did when it was in fact this new stores fault. Third problem remember when I said I transferred as full time? Well when you are a full time associate they have to give you at least 34 hours a week so I'm on my way there my third day and they call me and tell me I can't come in for the rest of the week because they were over on their hours which put me at 16 hours for the week which isn't even half of what they have to give me. And why would they transfer me down so quick if they couldn't afford to?? So after that I went to them asked them to put me on the schedule on the computer so they can't do that again because I can't afford to only be getting a few hours a week and get told that they can't because they are over on their hours which doesn't make sense because if people are st working when they are not on the schedule would that make them look even worse? But anyways I come into work one day and check my attendance points and I had one for leaving early when I did not and even if I had they wouldn't put me on the schedule so I couldn't have got on meaning someone had to go in manually and do it I had to talk to about 4 different people before something that got done after being told that I did leave early otherwise it wouldn't be there. So I was fed up I decided to go back to school and I put in another transfer request to a town that was closer and had a few colleges and after a few days they told me the activated it. Then an assistant came up to me and told me that it was my last day and store manager would take care it and that I just need to call back the next day and find out what store I'm going to. So I call the next day he's not there and I'm calling everyday for a about week and finally get told that he won't be back for 2 weeks and then I call back again and talk to the same assistant that gave me my last day and ask for the district office number and she gave me a fake number I call back the next day and talk to personal about it and got told I didn't need to contact them about anything the only way I was able to get it was by calling cooperate. Oh and it took them over month to fix they paycheck they screwed up. They aren't flexible with hours what so ever

Down to 3 stars. This is the 3rd trip in a row I have taken the time to show management or employees the products that are out of date and still on the shelves for sale. This time gallons of orange juice. Four days out of date. It's not MY job but maybe it will keep someone else from buying it. Step it up Walmart.

Very nice store. Not over crowded and the prices are low. We were able to find all of the grocery items and they even had a few hardware items. This store is not as big as the Super Walmarts but it is not nearly as crowded and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The gasoline station won't let you use their restrooms, even after filling up your tank with their gasoline. You have to go inside the store to use the restroom.

Still giving this a three star another issue is this store only has two electric carts if both work. I went the other day and I have a hard time walking due to an accident I was in and there was no carts. I did not see any in the parking lot and no one using them. It's a small store so it would be hard to miss them. So if your handicapped and need an electric cart don't shop here.

While out of town, I had to get snacks for my kids in the hotel room. I must have been spoiled by the one in my hometown because the stock in this store was horrible. There were multiple things out of stock...microwave macaroni and cheese, sweet tea, Capri suns. It was clean and had a very friendly staff.

I really like this store, it's in a great location very close to the school Harden Simmons University. Never too crowded, great Walmart prices that you always expect from any Walmart. The buggies here aren't that great but I think that's just a part of shopping at Walmart especially compared to Target. I found everything I needed in a timely fashion. There is also a Walmart gas station that is conveniently right next to it which I think is a nice touch. Would definitely come back for the convenience alone.

This is MY store! I usually go a couple times a week. The store is well lit, clean. has everything I need (excellent selections for a smaller store) & a friendly, helpful staff! I highly recommend checking them out.

I'm a fan. All the Walmart deals without the crowd. This store is much closer to me than the Big Boxes. Of course it's just the grocery part, but that's usually why I go to Walmart. They do have gas pumps but I don't use them (major brands only, thank you). They do have a small deli for pizza and chicken. Employees are very friendly and helpful ( at 6:00 in the morning). Smaller store, smaller parking lot, good prices. It works for me!

This store is on the north side of town and therefore a bit of a drive for me, but nevertheless, I wanted to check it out and I'm glad I did. When we first walked in, we smelled something being grilled that smelled delicious. I never found out what that was but it smelled like a good steak restaurant's grill. This store has more or less everything you would want from a grocery store, at Walmart prices, without the hassle of entering the larger Super-centers. One thing that I found convenient was that nearly ever cut of meat came in an assortment of package sizes, including pairs. For example, I was able to grab a two pack of pork chops, a two pack of filet mignon, a two pack of chicken breasts, etc. Since we're trying to portion control while also varying our meals each day, this was a great opportunity to get numerous types of meats without having to purchase a large quantity. I can try something new each night for dinner. The store also carries a lot of the miscellaneous items you may want to pick up, like paper towels, garbage bags, vitamins, etc.
