I work for an app service named Shipt that contracts with Walgreens. I had a shopping order for one item this evening. Michael refused to scan the in app barcode and called a female employee, whose name I did not get, for assistance. I read them the disclaimer in the app; showed them everything it said and the shopper card. They still refused to scan the barcode. The only information given for the tax ID in app is the organization name and number; but that did not suffice. I asked them to please try to at least scan the barcode; that I do shopping orders all over Abilene and have never had an issue until this evening; and the female employee got a nasty attitude and told me to call a manager tomorrow. Which I have since found out the manager is out until Tuesday. I am floored that the employees were so entirely incompetent about a platform they partner with. I am now out my time, in app pay, and gas because of two employees incompetence and need for a power trip. I have always gotten sour attitudes at this location as well as it being poorly stocked and I typically excuse it, however after this evening I can confidently say I will not be back.

I called the pharmacy at about 7:30 PM Monday evening, 4/11/2024 to ask the status of my prescription. I was told I couldn't pick it up until Tuesday morning, 4/12/2024.i explained we needed it early so we can make our 6 hours trip to Houston. They assured me it would be ready first thing in the morning. We arrived at 9:45 and told us it would not battery until 10:30 AM. After arguing with the staff it still took past 10:30 AM. The staff kept trying to avoid telling me who the manager is but I got the name. They haven't heard the last of me. Because of the delay our schedule was greatly.

Drove 30 minutes to get there. Arrived to find the pharmacy was closed due to lack of a pharmacist. Called the number.they left on the door who offered to make me a new appointment but not that day. I declined and found a walk in pharmacy instead. Walgreens didnt gave the courtesy to call and cancel

Why are they putting the pills in such large bottles!!!? I have smaller ones from before that I pour the pills into hardly fill them up. Also, I hate the plastic bags they are putting each bottle into, why the change? Really frustrated!

Your lady at the drive thru today was helping me and I tried to ask her a question about one of my Rx and she blatantly cut me off and said I'm sorry we're on break now. You'll have to call or come back later. What???? That was absolutely rude and not attentive to helping me which would've only taken a second of her precious time to answer my question. I will be contacting Kate, the pharmacy manager about this.

They just open wherever they feel like it. The open time of 8 means nothing to turn

We went from a pharmacy with minimal service over to Walgreen’s pharmacy. We have been very impressed with the customer service and the courtesy we’ve received from everyone in this pharmacy. We think that they go above and beyond to help us out and answer any of our questions. We are extremely pleased with this change! If we had only known how much better the service would be, we would have switched over to Walgreens pharmacy a long time ago.

I love this pharmacy and even transferred my clients medications over from Walmart. My prescriptions are refilled automatically monthly and they are prompt in communicating with doctors if there are any problems. The staff are kind and knowledgeable about their jobs.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews. I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with helpful and pleasant people at this Walgreens. Maybe they mistakenly hit Walgreens instead of the CVS across the street haha

Worst pharmacy ever, refilled one prescription twice, and another one not at all..after I had requested them and called my Dr to make sure everything would be refilled. Then I get attitude from them.

This is the only Pharmacy (North East 10th St & Judge Ely) I get my prescriptions from except those my insurance company requires I get by mail ??? order.I transferred everything here after the Pharmacist at CVS right across the street really really really made me angry ???WALGREEN'S is Awesome!!!!!The CVS Pharmacist snatched a prescription along with some personal papers (information from Dr. of what I needed to do, notes that Dr. put in my medical records about that visit and personal information about me) out of my hand. I had been speaking with the girl that was getting my info and I asked her a question about the prescription I was going to have filled. It was a Controlled Substance pain meds that have many restrictions and other stuff. Apparently He (The Pharmacist) thought I had stolen it, was trying to fill something and take that was not mine, was asking all the questions to get the Tech all confused ? so she would just take it and it would be filled ? with no hassle for me.The Pharmacist walks up grabs my papersand jerks them out of my hand. I just stoodthere ? as heck. Then he starts where did I get this prescription, as he was holding all my papers, this is morethan one, you must be going to different doctors and getting them to give you strong pain meds, I was either a junkie or selling them ( I ended up with the torn corners in my hand and he had all my papers) he told me he was calling the cops ?♂️ and they can deal with me.I just turned around, walked to the front of the store and got the store Manager to come with me.He had Pharmacist come out to us. I reached over and snatched my papers back faster then he did!! He didn't even get a corner! Told him what he was without cussing, showed the Store Manager my papers, told him what the IDIOT SAID, he had called the cops already without looking at my papers and told them both have fun with the cops for a false report on whatever the Pharmacist called in and I would NEVER shop in a CVS again in my life! If any of my family did I would convince them to change also! Drove across the street spoke with the Pharmacist about my nice treatment at CVS just moments before and I have never gone back! Love my WALGREEN'S and even use them away from home.Never walked in a CVS since then! They have always had the medication ?that was prescribed.
