Wish I read the comments before I went here to get my hair and eyebrows down. I approached Brooke’s register (cashier) did not look at me once, and not a word. But she was very friendly with the previous customers. Maybe your tired after a long day, but just because I look different than you doesn’t mean your treat customers unkindly. Getting my hair conditioned and doing my eyebrows once’s a month is a part of my self care day. Won’t let this spoil it. Definitely wouldn’t be back to be treated this way every month. Came home and immediately cancelled my following hair appointments.

I went to buy the Patttern Scalp Serum by Tracee Ellis Ross as well as the Detangling Nectar! Xavier was knowledgeable about Pattern. He says that he uses the scalp serum on his braids! Jakorie was very nice, friendly, and fun!! I loved talking to her. The scalp serum is awesome and leaves your scalp feeling nice!! My store experience was nice. Xavier and Jakorie made my experience nice!

I went to Ulta Beauty to buy beard oil (I’m a black man) and when I was in line, the lady in front of me was a white woman and she was greeted with a "how are you today" and a warm smile. When it was my turn, I walked towards Jemae’s register (cashier) and then instead of greeting me she looked to her left and noticed that the lady at the next register just got done with a customer so she told me to go to the next register while there was already another customer walking towards that direction. It didn’t stop there, while my card was still processing the payment, she bagged my item and handed me the product and told me I would get an email receipt, rushing me out the store. You should not treat people differently just because they don’t look like you!!
They definitely lost a customer today

1. We called, asked for prices and were given said prices. We made an appointment for a particular service.
2. We arrived at the scheduled time for the service.
3. The hair stylist then decided to change the services and upsell the heck out of a ton of things that were not wanted.
4. The hair stylist refused to provide the service we originally had made an appointment for.
Among other things, the stylist went on rants and lectured when pressed for the desired service. WOW.... we will never be returning here. Avoid at all costs until they learn what a customer is. Here is a tip, they are not money bags that can be fleeced and discarded. Also, if the salon cannot provide the services they quote for, then stop quoting services that won't get done.
People have budgets to stick to and they don't need a salon out of all things to derail them because they are trying to make an extra buck.

I am very dissatisfied with the services I received. I got a sew- in style. Before getting the sew- in I had a head full of hair. After removing the sew- in my edges are almost bald. So much of my hair broke off it was unbelievable.I do not recommend this salon and I will never return.

I moved from California a year 1/2 ago. I managed Ulta salon and I’ve worked as a vender/makeup artist as well as an educator for 30 years. The girls seemed nice. They are not educated on how to work with cosmetics, clients, or knowledgeable. When you do find someone to help you, they are annoyed. I have been there a few times and it asked for help with Products, color, matches, and many more. I was told thrown this color might work. She threw me the product and then walked away without any consultation or color match. No smile, no hello. In other words… your team needs sales training, learn how to do customer service, learn how to Color match and much more.
Just some advice.

I had a wonderful experience with store 409 and associate JaKorie. I turned 70 this year and the foundation I was using wasn't working for me anymore. JaKorie was able to help with the brand and color plus a primer. I put it on this morning and it was wonderful. She also help with the applicator. I feel she went beyond her job and I sure appreciate it.

I left the salon feeling sick to my stomach! am so upset with the results of my root touch up because it ended up changing the entire color of my hair! Now I am out the money & with a new hair color when all I wanted to do was maintain the color and I made that very clear. Background: A few weeks prior I had my hair professionally bleached to this gorgeous bright solid shade of blonde. With the intention of maintaining the color as my roots grew out I would get them done to match the rest of my hair. Simple right? Unfortunately the initial stylist who did my hair the first time no longer is with the company. So I put my trust in another Ulta stylist as I believed this was pretty basic and all of the stylists should be presumably qualified. And well you can see the results yourself. Completely different color. I expressed my dissatisfaction multiple times. She really didn't address my concerns and attempt to make it right. She told me that if I made another appointment 2 months out she would be able to get me to my original color that I came in with that she darkened? I explained to her that I already did the bleach wash weeks prior and my hair is a solid color and I was happy with the current color I came in with all I wanted to do was my roots but somehow have a new brown hair color? And on top of that I paid for the service and a color I don't want! And now I am going to have to go through a whole bleach wash process again to get back where I was weeks ago! I am literally spending so much money to fix something that wasn't even my mistake! I put my trust into Ulta to literally do my roots and ended up with brown hair and back to square one to get my hair back to the blonde I had prior to this appointment. Extremely frustrating.

My wife got her haircut there. It's the best cut she has had since we moved back to Abilene in 2022.

Absolute trash. My wife was trying to get her makeup done "professionally" for a costume party. She gave 5 different pictures of what she wanted it to look like. The artist fought her on every aspect then completely disregarded her requests. She took way longer than was advertised, we were late because she had to redo everything herself. Never go here, if I could give less than a star I would. find an actual stylist or professional.

Nia absolutely killed it with my brows after they were messed up by a previous establishment. She was so kind, conversational & considerate. The floor manager was also so friendly & informative. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. If you’re looking for a brow professional…Nia knows her stuff. Book with her ♥️

My girl Echo did ABSOLUTELY AH-MAZING!! I was so so so happy with the final look for my make up session! She walked me through every step of the way (as I am NOT a girly girl, I know next to nothing about makeup). She was so friendly and very knowledge about what works well and the look I was trying to accomplish for my night! I can't wait to go back and have her help me pick up everything I need to do to attempt this look on my own! Thank you Echo!!! You're the best babe!
