“I'm a travel nurse and first went to Pitmans Garage in about 2021 after getting my clutch replaced in Florida. My clutch wasn't engaging. I called around a few places and several mechanics told me my transmission needed to be replaced. They quoted me a few thousand. When I called Pittman he said he didn't think it was my transmission. He made some adjustments and I had my car back the following day driving as it should. Just recently I got another contract in Abilene and was having car issues. He got my car back to me that same day and even gave me a ride home when I initially dropped it off. Pittman's garage is very knowledgeable and I definitely recommend to everyone!! They even text me to check up on my car. Now if that's not great service I don't know what is!”

“My SUV was vandalized and the robbers took all four of my wheels. After calling around no wrecker service would come get my vehicle on the account of not having away to get on the truck to tow it with no wheels...they were very understanding and I saved at least 100 on the tow and it only cost me 50 bucks . then on top of that found 4. Brand new wheels to put on my truck with chrome rims (better than what I had before) at a fraction of the price. I'd recommend them to any and every body!”

“I ran out of fuel in the Sam's parking lot, far from the fuel pumps. I went inside and figured if anyone would know how to help me, it would be the tire guys. The guy at the tire desk was super nice and called someone to help. A guy named Jared (pretty sure he was management based on how nicely he was dressed) came to my aid. He grabbed a Jerry can and siphon and came out to my car and put enough fuel in it to get me to the fuel pump. He was super helpful! He had to tell me that it was him personally helping me, not Sam's, for liability purposes, I'm sure. But I can't rave enough on how awesome he was! He was so helpful, especially in 104° temperatures. The man deserves some kind of accolades and recognition! He wouldn't let me pay him, so I hope Sam's will take notice of this incredible employee!”

“Update: We've been using Discount Tires for YEARS. Bought many a tire there. I sent my hubs in to buy tires for our truck. The sales person did not run the charge through our discount tire card, so no discount tire savings. Of course at this point, we can't recharge the item. Please train your sales people to remind customers to use this option to pay & save.Great service. Make an online appointment and you are in and out.”

I went in to get my tires switched and my brakes (as Kia advised that my rear brakes needed to be replaced asap) he was extremely honest and said that they didn’t need to be replaced at that exact moment (though he could have just to get my money). I went in uniform without my husband and instead of trying to get over on me (as I’ve had happen at other establishments in the past) and he provided me with a lot of knowledge about the maintenance of my vehicle. He also informed me that himself and everyone in the office at that moment where all prior service/retired themselves.
