Today is day 3 of out for delivery and still have not received my $800 package. I am located an hour from the terminal. I called and was told a dispatcher would call me back, because as it turns out my package was still at the terminal. I even offered to drive an hour to the terminal to pick up the package. Today shipping showed out for delivery between 6-10. Then at 7 it showed back at terminal. Today is Friday, they are closed Saturday and Sunday. At this point I'm not sure they will ever deliver it!

Would not recommend. I was watching the tracking of my package on their website. The website stated it was in my town and that I needed to schedule a delivery time. I tried calling their local number but it goes to a 1800 number. I then was transferred to a local answering machine and left a message, which was never returned. A couple day later I tried again, same results. I was going to work the next 2 days and asked if I could just change the address of the delivery due to it being closer to their location and that I would not be home for 2 days. They stated they would have to call the shipper and verify. The shipper calls me and stated the shipping company wants another $380 to change the address and that the package was schedule for delivery today the shipper stated if no one was home that they usually charge to come back another day around $100. So once again I tried calling the local number and the customer service line stated that the package was indeed scheduled for home delivery today. They said they had tried to leave a message to tell me it was being delivered but never got a hold of anyone. My phone didn't have a single voicemail or text message on it. I had a family member rush to my house to not miss the bumper being delivered. I get a text message from a local driver stating they wanted to schedule a delivery time. I said I wouldn't be home today or tomorrow and that we needed to deliver Thursday when I got off of work. He said absolutely, no package would be delivered today. I send my family member home and all is good until about 2 hours later my doorbell camera picks up a semi backing into my driveway. The package is being dropped off. I have to call a different family member over and have them open the garage to get the bumper. 2 days later I get home and look it all over and the wrap around the package is torn in 2 high spots. The powder coating is scratched off the bumper to the bare metal. I call Saia and explain the problem and ask if I should install my bumper or wait to hear about the resolution, since there was insurance on the shipment. The shipper states you can't fix the scratches and a local powder coating company quotes me $450 to fix the problem. Saia tells me to not install it and to wait to hear back from them, they will get back to me ASAP. This was 09/19/2023. Fast forward to today 11/3/2023 I haven't heard from a single Saia person. I had to once again call them and ask about the resolution. They state that a claim was filed by the shipper and they cannot tell me any more information due to company policy. So the person that receives the product damaged will hear back from no one. I am disappointed.

Dropped off a pallet today via freight that had got forked into the/our box, told Driver I needed to check the inside over and he got all angry and showed me a attitude that wasn't necessary to give your customer!?!?!? Come on Saia, you used to be a Great Freight company, but this is the 2nd time I have had a issue with your drivers. Hoping this review will help let you know, so that it can be addressed to your drivers.

I only mow the grass here, so I'm not sure how to rate it, but the people seem pretty nice, for what it is, as far as my experience has been.

Awful discourteous driver. A SAIA driver named Jeff parked his truck illegally blocking a stop sign, blocking traffic, and blocking an intersection in my parking lot. When I kindly asked him to move it, he walked off. Tried to call SAIA to complain but there phone number was tied to a fax. If I see him here again I'm calling the cops.

Leaving a 1 because I can’t leave a 0. Absolutely terrible customer service. My estimated delivery date was 9-13-19 between 10:30am and 2:30pm. I called at 2:25pm and they told me that the shipment hadn’t even reached the local terminal (already aggravating). They then told me that it wouldnt be until Monday to get the shipment delivered. I specifically told them that we were closed on Monday and Tuesday, that they would need to deliver it Wednesday and that I would be there at 10:00am. However, they tried to deliver it Monday even though I told them no one would be there. I called again Tuesday morning at 11:42am to confirm that I would be receiving my shipment on Wednesday, and they told me yes. It is now 12:15pm on Wednesday and they tell me that they can’t deliver it until tomorrow (Thursday), even though I specifically asked and confirmed that we were getting it on Wednesday. We have other stuff going on that will interfere with us trying to unload and inspect the shipment.

I was waiting on a shipment and they were supposed to call to arrange delivery. My items arrived to their local terminal, but I received no call, email or text! When I called, the local office was ‘at lunch’ so I left a voice mail. Still not response, and I have a short time window to receive my freight! Use another shipping company if at all possible!

Excellent service on a delivery of road grading equipment to my ranch in a rural area. Delivery when promised in excellent condition. Billy, the driver, was very helpful in unloading this 2650 lb piece of freight. Very good experience and I would be glad to use this company again in the future.
