When I call to see if they can fit our vehicles in their schedule for whatever issues we are having I love hearing them say to bring it on in. They get to work on the problems shortly. The staff is very friendly and professional. I like having a reliable mechanic shop to depend on.

We love working with the guys at Outlaw! They are always kind and courteous, and they make sure to let us know cost and timing up front when possible. They have made my husband super happy with his '93 Silverado...runs like a dream! We will only ever take our vehicles to the Outlaw crew!

Excellent job. Highly recommend them. They saved my truck. They saved my marriage. I was dealing with another mechanic. Who tryed several times. To get my truck running right. He tryed several methods. Added several new parts. Tryed these tryed that. Several times he tryed to get it running right. After every time. I ended up broke down and walking. Super frustrating. Spent several dollars in towing and repairs. Nothing working. A friend recommended outlaw. Took it to them. Very knowledgeable bout repairs. Excellent phone communication. Took it one day. Had it repaired next day. They figured the problem out that quick. Unreal. It runs great now. Super excited bout it. Still can't believe it. Can't thank them enough. So glad to find a good reasonable mechanic. Thanx Outlaw.

Had taken my vehicle to various other shops here in town. All which diagnosed and “fixed” the problems. Still my vehicle never ran correctly. Took to outlaw and explained everywhere and everything the other shops said was wrong with my vehicle. Dropped it off at 9am and it was done before lunch! Without a doubt the best place to go to in Abilene for mechanic work!

Took a car in to them for over heating they said it had air in the line and they had to put a little bit of dex cool coolant in it and they said the battery was the wrong size and no good so they put a new battery on it and we picked it up then that night turned the car off and it wouldn't start so I called them and they would not help me get the car back to the shop so they could fix it they wouldn't do anything to help me I tried for 2 weeks trying and they had no desire to help me out in anyway I asked for a tool to help get the battery out and the owner was so rude about it I finally got the battery off and took it to them they wouldn't even get it out for me I had to I will never go to that place again. Horrible customer service.

STAY AWAY!Behold this wonderful view of John Lenamon's spectacular establishment! Took it right after being told to "GET THE FUCK OUT, I'M NOT ASKING YOU I'M TELLING YOU" Tldr; John tried to charge me nearly 300 dollars to service my AC when I already informed him it had a leak, stating "it works fine"I had a bad radiator cap, and my AC had been out for a few months in my car. Took it to John Lenamon, with such good reviews I was sure I was in good hands. Same day I started having this issue with my vehicle, I spoke with John about 30 mins before this repair shop closes. I knew I wouldn't be seen, nor did I expect to be. I simply went to either set an appointment or get a good return time. John informed me that I could come back around 8am after explaining my issues to him and asking for him to take a look at the vehicle. So the next day I return, and drop off my vehicle. I sign no papers, just give my name, number, and key to John. I had told John once again when going to drop the car off that I had AC problems. I informed him that it has already been serviced, dyed, and checked for leaks. Yet it has still gone out and no leaks were found by a previous mechanic.I got messaged an invoice a few hours later.... No phone call, no customer approval of doing the work on the vehicle. Fine. I didn't even make a big deal out of it nor mention it when going to pick up my vehicle. John described to me what they had done for my vehicle. In short, John found that my vehicles A/C system was empty. Obviously if it was already serviced before, and had blown cold and got warm again... there must be a leak or some other problem. Otherwise the system would not be empty. What was John's solution to this? Serving my A/C, attempting to charge me 300 dollars for it and stating "it works fine" That is NOT a repair. That's a temporary fix, in fact, a day later the AC began to blow warm again, EXACTLY as I informed him it would. I am a service member, and was in a United States military uniform, which I respect much more than I do John, or his establishment. So I remained respectful, yet firm throughout the entirety of our conversation regarding the work done to my vehicle, and his temper tantrum.John exploded and slammed my key onto the counter yelling:"GET THE FUCK OUT" "IM NOT GOING TO SPEND 12 HOUR LOOKING AT YOUR CAR" "IM TELLING YOU NOT ASKING YOU, GET THE FUCK OUT"Once again, in uniform. I remain calm, and say okay, have a nice day sir. Why agree to take my vehicle if you don't want to spend the time on it? Is this the type of mechanic you want touching your cars?I did not pay the 500 dollar invoice, nor should I have to for such service. I did not intend on paying for the "AC repair" whatsoever.He saved his self by slamming that key.I planned to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office or the Better Business Bureau and file a small claims court law suit. Would've been fine with him keeping the car.I urge you to stay far away from this establishment! Not only will John try to rip you off, he isn't mentally fit for a normal conversation and will blow up on you when questioned even respectfully.I will be reporting this incident in order to steer any service members away from this terrible establishment.

Great guys. Had transmission work done to my car (slave cylinder replacement on c6 corvette. If anyone knows about this or removing the fuel pump, they know its a tough job.)Car is able shift so smoothly now, its night and day from how it was before.I've had work done by them in the past and they've always done good work.Service: Transmission repair

John and his crew are extremely helpful, polite and professional. We broke down near Abilene on a long trip and got towed to the nearest shop. After being told we would have to stay in town until next week for parts (Not an option) we got towed again to Outlaw Automotive. We are so thankful we were referred to this shop. John figured out what it would take to get us back on the road (Still a reliable repair - no shortcuts were taken) and already had parts delivered before we arrived. Within a couple hours we were on our way and the price was very reasonable. If only we lived in Abilene, we would bring all our cars here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

John and his crew at Outlaw are honest, reliable and great to work with. John took extra time himself to make sure my car repair was done correctly and in a timely manner. His team is top notch and everyone is really nice with positive attitudes. My husband is parts manager at Kent’s Harley Davidson - he knows everything motorcycle related (and a lot about cars), and Outlaw is the only place we take our cars for service. John and David and there staff are beyond AWESOME! My 2018 Buick Encore broke down and I thought I would have to take it to the dealer to have it repaired. But Outlaw Automotive came to my rescue! They properly diagnosed my car and within a couple days it was repaired! I bought this car from Kent Beck, and had issues. They sent the car to Outlaw for repair. That was the beginning of having an outstanding, dedicated, reliable, respectful and honest relationship with Outlaw Automotive. Although I'll never purchase another car from Kent Beck, I will always continue to have my cars repaired by Outlaw Automotive. I believe in customer service and satisfaction. I will gladly sing praise from the mountains of the quality of their workmanship! Outlaw, you have truly blessed me!
