“Even after seeing low-ish reviews for this hotel, I paid attention to the more recent ones and I'm glad I did! This hotel was very nice, very clean and smelled clean too. No bugs... we always check... except this sad little half dead cricket near the bathroom. The pool looked great and I was ready but the weather said nope! The front desk seems to be exclusively manned by the owner (which is fine) and he was very attentive and very nice. The really harp on no smoking, also fine since I don't smoke, and that keeps the place smelling good too. Highly recommend!”

“We've stayed here twice, and both times were good. The second room had more wear and tear, so I hope HIE is staying on top of maintenance. If they do, they'll get a lot more $$$ from us over the next 4 years.
Not all HIE breakfasts are the same. Some have a little extra something that makes them stand out. This HIE had ham at the buffet, which went beautifully with a perfectly-cooked cheese omelette. I always enjoy biscuits and gravy, and the sausage paired perfectly with it. In case you can't tell, we really enjoyed the breakfast here.”

“This place is so awesome. I have had the best experience here. Even though we had a problem with our first room the problem was very quickly rectified. The staff is wonderful and the service. I would recommend any one here. The stay was pleasant.”
“Decent 3 star hotel. For the value, it's excellent! Low price for a clean room! It's still being remodeled, however slowly. This hotel has tons of potential once they find a meaningful way to fill their loads of internal space. Would have been nice to have in-room fridges. Great staff, would stay here again, just wish it wasn't so empty inside.”
“Room was clean, pool was fun (but not very warm), staff friendly, but elevator was a little worrisome. Decent location near a Target, Natural Grocers, restaurants and highway.Food & drinks: Awesome breakfast! So many options. My favorite was the oatmeal with all the toppings. Prettily displayed and also tasted so yummy! My gf kid was thankful for the gf Cheerios ?”

“Our sports team stayed at this hotel for a weekend tournament and my daughter left her Apple Watch in her room on the morning they checked out . She called that afternoon to see if it had been turned in but, at that point, no one from housekeeping had reported anything. Desk clerk took her name and number but no one called back. FOUR WEEKS LATER, her team stayed at this same hotel and, although it was a long shot, she asked the desk if anyone had turned in an Apple Watch … and it was there! We are so impressed with the HONESTY and integrity of the entire staff, from housekeeping to front desk!!! THANK YOU!”
“Man, I got the huge rooms. So good I had to stay twice.The front desk attendant was pretty solid too.If all comfort Suites are this nice, I’ll be staying often.For $80 bucks, it was a steal!And they serve a real breakfast.Rooms: They have some huge rooms”

“The outside will make you think you are staying in a prison. However, the rooms were very clean. The AC worked perfectly, Beds were comfortable, and pillows were nice. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Pleasantly surprised that this Courtyard is as familiar as they used to be. I travelled a lot on business and Courtyard was my hotel of choice because they felt so familiar. 20+ cities in a year and that’s important and this Courtyard didn’t disappoint. Staff was awesome and accommodating of our Aussiedoodle. This was our first “trip to Abilene” but now we’re know where to stay.”

“We found an affordable rate, we were very impressed how clean room was! We traveled from Atlanta GA & we needed a good rest to continue our road trip and the bed was so comfortable.HOT BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD!!! They even had Texas shape waffles my kids definitely want to stop again! The best of all: right on the side of hwy so easy access to continue on the road.

“My son and I have stayed here during our travels for at least 2 years. EVERY stay has been a blessing. The front desk staff has always been courteous, professional and helpful. I am oxygen dependent and I have a 16 year old, nearly blind dog and the Housekeeping Staff had gone above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. My words are inadequate to describe my appreciation. God bless each of these outstanding people! I've stayed at Hilton Hotels that didn't meet this quality of service!”

“Overall, it was a great experience to stay here. The rooms were nice with a kitchenette. The continental breakfast was included - better than most other places. The Wi-Fi was my annoyance. There was limited access to Wi-Fi in the rooms - I have to go to the lobby for the other Wi-Fi connection.
Nearby activities: There is Target and a movie theater close by. Mall is within walking distance.”
