This place is completely filthy and I was verbally abused just like at wood fibre !!!! H-E-B gives me the heebie-jeebies !!!! Some verbal abuse I faced was being called YALL and HOWDY!!! ALSO every one was wearing cowboy hats which are very offensive to a Canadian !!!! Do not go here the meat gave me food poisoning!!! I was on the toilet for hours !!! Their canned beanz are not worth buying AT ALLLLLLLLL!!!!SWAGGY MCBEANZ FOR LIFE

Lots of registers open most day so check out is pretty easy. Just wish there was more Hispanic/ mi tienda options.

This store is nice. It is way too crowded. People bump into you all the time. To hard to get around the store with it being so crowded.
Most of the employees are nice.
The parking lot get jammed pack with almost no parking spaces left.
We definitely need another Heb in town.

Awful one lady in the meat/cheese dept refuses to slice my cheese and deli meats the way I want also refuses to. Let me only get 1/8 of a pound. The other employees will cut my meat and cheese the way I want it.
It's way to crowded to shop and enjoy it. Abilene needs another HEB

I'm so happy to have an H-E-B with so many nice people in it and helpful people they r r e doing some freezers in the middle of the store but besides that it's wonderful and I know once it's done it's going to be even better the associates people who work there if you didn't know what associates mean period are so kind I wanted to buy a drink once and the register was closed and one of the ladies went over and make sure I could have the cup so I can go pay it or normal register. Then they have a nice little area to sit and eat or even charge your phone. They have free Wi-Fi you sign on and you agree to their contract not doing anything stupid or illegal. They have good meat great variety good prices and to top it all off the meal deals buy one or two or three items and get like 8 other items free what more can you ask. I know when I used to live in Killeen that was the best part of it now here in Abilene I found my love once again.
Update that I don't live in Abilene anymore, but I have to say this last visit was absolutely amazing. I love every part of it I miss it so much it's literally the best H-E-B that I know of. the customer service here is immaculate and I think all the other HEBs should take pointers from this one customer care, love, concern for others the willingness to move even I've seen people with bad days be so much more happier here I am so thankful for this H-E-B I wish you all were a little bit of everywhere.
(I have to admit my anxiety was really bad when I was in Abilene and I didn't realize it was a day before Thanksgiving a couple years back before the pandemic I had an anxiety attack on the Chip aisle right before Thanksgiving and an employee came and found me help me out and I appreciate that so much if more stores was like that and concern for their customers the world would be a better place.)

Definitely need another HEB. This one is always packed. Love shopping here though but only early in the mornings.
