I like this store...2 cashiers are very delightful and welcoming. Then there are 2 that need to understand looks shouldn't be judged and everyone don't need to steal. I dont get offended I just feel they have mental issues going on and I sincerely hope that they seek help.

I can always find what I'm going there to get at Family Dollar, plus I always get some things I didn't know I needed before I saw them there! This store is always clean, organized and nicely stocked. The employees there are helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry and they have great working attitudes that make for a great shopping environment. The dude with the Blue hair who I believe is a manager is personable and pleasantly professional in his duties and I recommend saying hello to him if he's on duty at the time of your next visit! This Family Dollar is within easy walking distance from where I live and as an extra plus factor that will keep me coming back- THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY. I don't walk anywhere in Abilene without my dog and I'll find some reason to take my dog for a stroll around the ' hood so I can stop at this F.D. location and buy some $1 instant coffee because I love it and run through it like crazy! I'm fueled by some Nescafe or Cafe Bustelo espresso packets! It keeps me going and improves my attitude & life in a large way every day! This Family Dollar easily gets the A++++ Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from me! :-)

This dollar store is best in its class in Abilene, perhaps even west Texas. It's always got great deals on every day essentials. Best to check for limited offers and get them while you can, how they can make money with some of these prices on the specials is beyond me. Great location in Old Town south and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It was really unusual to be greeted randomly walking into a store. I like the fact they still observe general hygiene recommendations with hand sanitizer as you walk in the door.

It was nice was lacking in a lot of products and didn't like the fact that had to make 2 trips to my car cause the carts have the polls on them. Y can only shop for what u can carry unless u have someone with you. Will not be going back
