The animals are very clearly not taken care of. This poor dove has been pulling its feathers out due to stress. The reptiles are enclosed in spaces entirely too small and have no where to climb or hide. Truly heartbreaking. I don’t recommend giving them any of your money. It clearly doesn’t go to the care of these animals.

My wife and I took our 3 daughters here on Saturday. I was looking for something to do with the girls and found this little gem. It was an almost 2 hour drive from home so I hoped it would be worth it. The center opened at 1pm so we had plenty of time to get there. We were greeted by Marsha when we got there and could tell right away this was a good choice. This place is packed full of knowledge and between Marsha and Connie, they can blow your mind with information. We spent 3 hours looking around, watching short films, talking to a parrot and shopping in the book shop. I am surprised I had never heard of this shop before but they have been here for years! Go visit and learn how dinosaurs and dragons fit into the Bible! Let's support this business and businesses like this one. Especially in times like today that we are having identity problems in this world!

This is not science, nor education, nor truth. What your children are going to be exposed to is a predetermined narrative supported by selective facts. We all are free to believe what we want, but don’t call it science. Call it what it is — religion. Our children are already falling behind in math and science. This is not helping.

Such an awesome experience! Everyone in Abilene should visit The Discovery Center. Children and Adults will learn a ton about history and science and our God. I will definitely be coming back again with my family next time I'm in Abilene!

How can you call your museum informative and "discovery" while denying a fact-based scientific theory like evolution?

Wonderful knowledgeable people. The exhibits were neat and made several connections between science and the Bible. Although all were not accurate the efforts are very much appreciated. This place operates on donations so bring your cash, and support this great place!

Kathy was very nice and knowledgable as well as the other staff! Before we went I was looking online for the cost, and couldn't find one because there is No fee to enter but they do accept donations. They had animals and fun activities for the kids. It was a great place to visit!
