This place takes family and community to the NEXT LEVEL! My husband and I have decided this is our date space and we truly enjoy being silly and working on our own fitness together! Everyone is friendly and a little spicy in personality! They don’t make you feel awkward for having to modify everything “like I have to”, and they care if you feel seen and heard! They cheer you on if you are last and encourage you to keep pushing! It has been amazing for me, my husband, and our daughter!

If you are looking for a place that will be able to help you meet your fitness goals, no matter what they may be…I cannot suggest BAMF enough! My personal journey is much different than most. I was always considered “the skinny kid” for most of my life. No matter how much I tried on my own, I simply could never pack on the weight or muscle that I was hoping to achieve. That all changed the day that I walked through the doors of this facility! The coaching staff here genuinely care about every individual that they work with, the members are some of the most genuine and hardworking folks I’ve ever met, and the workouts are always adaptable and can be modified for any person regardless of their current fitness level. If you are looking for the place to help you accomplish your goals, give BAMF a try!

This gym and all the coaches are amazing. I've gone to other crossfit type gyms and would get injuries and those coaches would tell me to still do the workouts with out modifying it for the injury. The coaches at BAMF will take injuries into consideration and change things up so yoi can still get a great workout in.

At Backward Arrow Modern Fitness, I've found more than just a gym. I've found a supportive community that feels like an extended family. From the coaches who prioritize safe fitness practices to the constant challenges that keep me on my toes, every session feels like a step towards becoming the best version of myself. As a wife and mom of two, finding “me time” can be a challenge, but this gym has become my sanctuary where I can prioritize my health and well-being. Highly recommend to any fellow moms out there looking to reclaim their mornings and their fitness journey.

As a dedicated participant at Backward Arrow Modern Fitness gym for the past six years, I can confidently say it has become an integral part of my life. What sets this gym apart from the others is not just the challenging workouts for my mind and body, but the sense of belonging and support from the incredible community. From my coach’s who push me to exceed my limits, to the fellow members who motivate and inspire me every morning at 5:30am, Backward Arrow Modern Fitness, truly feels like a family.

The gym owners have figured out a way to motivate me to actually get to the gym and keep attending. The coaches are great at keeping the hard work fun and are there to help you grow and perform the exercises correctly. They are also great at adapting the workout to each person’s level to keep every one safe and also push our limits to help us improve. The community they have built is what sets the gym above the rest.

I’ve been to a handful of other CrossFit gyms and I’m so glad Backward Arrow Modern Fitness is where I landed! More than anywhere else I’ve worked out, they are beginner friendly and focus so much on safety and teaching. You will never walk into a class and feel like you don’t know what you’re doing or that you are unsafe in your movements. They have truly built a very special community here that I am so grateful to be a part of.

Everyone says I am crazy for doing thing. I say they are crazy for nit doing it! Since I have started here at backward arrow crossfit I have felt so much better. I am slowly getting stronger and am becoming more confident in myself. Fox is an amazing personal trainer and I would definitely recommend him.

I enjoy my private PT sessions with Josh. He is extremely motivating and honest I love the fact that the gym is family-oriented with no gimmicks. What you see is what you get along with a great workout. I am excited to be a part of the BA Family and am looking forward to my progress in becoming healthier

Where do I begin? I was looking for a change of scenery when I found Backward Arrow Modern Fitness and what I found was something far beyond that. I wanted to lose weight and have done just that. I have lost almost 40 pounds, gained friendships that I will keep for a lifetime and so much more. The coaches care about your goals and help every step of the way in the fitness journey. If you are looking but scared to try come to Backward Arrow Modern Fitness. This gym will change your life for the better!

Fun classes, positive community, great support. Personally, I needs lots of modifications as I adjust to the workouts. If your scared to try crossfit, this is the place for you! Onboarding process is catered to each person so your not just thrown into a class. Great place to push yourself!

Thanks Josh! Had a great experience! I would definitely recommend this gym for workouts and Physical Therapy! Best of both worlds!I went in with lower back pain due to an old injury and after a few sessions I could tell a major improvement!

Let' see, where to begin... When I found out about Backward Arrow Modern Fitness I was 340 lbs, and had just been told that I had high blood pressure and diabetes and at age 53 I was starting to think that if I fell, I would not be able to get up on my own. I was sharing with some friends that I needed to make a change but didn't know where to start. My friend Thomas said that the foundational goal of this gym is to see people become healthy. I had always prided myself on not exercising in the past, but clearly what I had done in the past didn't have lasting results, so I decided to take a chance and meet with Josh Boynton to see if this would be a good fit for me. From the beginning I was impressed with his knowledge of nutrition and body systems and the attitude of encouragement that is present. I have been doing personal training sessions 2 times a week since the beginning of January 2023. I am getting stronger (I no longer worry about being able to get off the floor), eating better than I ever have before (turns out if you eat the right food you don't feel like you are starving) and I have lost 70 lbs (in 5 months)! It takes dedication, but I have felt encouraged and supported every step of the way! I also appreciate Josh's knowledge of physical therapy. He watches to make sure I am not in danger of injuring myself with incorrect movements or movements that I am not yet ready for. I am impressed with the fact that this is not just for personal training, each class has a coach that helps tailor the workout to each members needs. I wish that I had made this step 20 years ago then I would have found out a lot sooner that I actually LIKE exercising. This place has been an amazing blessing in my life and I would encourage anyone, no matter your age or physical condition to check it out!
