City Lumber Co. is more than a hardware company; it is a store with its personality. I talked to one of the original owner's sons for a couple of minutes, who told me that the establishment had existed for almost seventy years. His father passed away a couple of years ago, and his sons have continued their father's legacy. They are now retiring, and a young entrepreneur bought the store and will expand it to other levels. I got a chance to meet the new owner, a super cool and friendly guy with lots of experience in construction. I am excited to see this local business succeed.I got all the things I needed and even some free nails as a nice gesture of hospitality. (Also Donuts!! haha)

Needed to figure out what I needed to do a project . The guy on the phone was so helpful. Stayed with me thru figuring out type of wood, amount & cost and how to order it in. Great service. I'll be back!

Always a great experience. Audie and Scotty the owners are kind and servant hearted. My grandfather used to buy lumber here when I was a kid in the early 70's. They still have the little bottled cokes grandpa would occasionally buy me.

I love going to these small businesses because you get much friendly excellent service and attended better. I had a good experience in this place at City Lumber.I told the man what I needed and he assisted me with great friendly service. He gave me good ideas of what I needed for my project. I recommend City Lumber for your lumber needs.

Oh my gosh. My dad went City Lumber in the 1960's and 1970's. Fast forward 50 years and I'm here. Nothing has changed. The guys working the desk are as old or older than me. And they know where EVERYTHING is. Old fashion service, courtesy, and attitude is what makes this place. Now the kicker. Lowe's and Home Depot have been out of cedar forever. City Lumber has a huge supply. When they didn't have the length I wanted, they cut a longer board to get me what I wanted. THAT'S UNHEARD OF!!!!! Yes, cedar cost an arm and a leg, but they had it, and I bought it! Thank you, I'll be back!
