Bought a gun with impressively grained wooden grips -unique tiger striped - thru Gunbroker. The gun I received was the correct model, but had a plain wooden grip. Nothing unusual about it. No tiger striping in the grain. After several calls and emails, I was able to speak with someone who said it was a stock picture of the model. I asked why this wasn't disclosed and wouldn't make more sense to take a picture of an ordinary example? Then if I got a really special one, I would be really happy rather than disappointed. That this was a poor business model. I was given an apology and an offer to refund. I decided to keep it out of spite, the price. The price was too good even for a plain example, and this way I can complain to you! BAIT AND SWITCH!! BEWARE!!

Caroline Colt Company, did not accept a weapon on a FFL transfer.
When I called them to check on the transfer, they didn’t have time to talk to me. When the company that was transferring the weapon to them for me to pick up called….the answer they gave them was they didn’t know why!! Thus, this rather large company took them off their transfer list for the Abilene area for future transfers. The gun went back to Salt Lake City or is going! I had to cancel that order then reorder the same type weapon and is being sent to a Carolina Colt competitor in the Abilene Area. That’s where I’ll be doing all my business in the future! They need to improve “somewhere”!

Walked in interested in buying a new firearm , wanted to put my hands on it and think on it a day or two . Soon as I stated I wasn’t buying today the whole mood in the room changed . I have the money to purchase today but feeling out which option I want . I’ve bought guns here before but I will def take my business elsewhere from now on even if I have to buy online . I’d give half a star if it let me . Do better guys !

Today was the first time I bought a firearm from Carolina Colt, I've previously bought ammo and other miscellaneous items from them. Everytime I've ever gone into the store, I've been met by very respectful and very informational gentlemen. The gun buying process was a breeze, would highly recommend.
