Checking the reviews before arriving, I was afraid they would not be of much help. Was happy to find that just the opposite was the case. Each member of the staff we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and most helpful.

I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible bank. COUNT YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE BANK. They have stolen from my elderly mother and will not make it right. A teller shorted her thousands of dollars on a withdrawal. ALSO they need to count the money in front of the customer so that they can see it being counted!! Horrible bank. Honestly unreal how bad it is. Very sad. DO NOT BANK HERE.

I would give them no stars if I could. They don't answer the phones. I've tried several times over several weeks and never once have I been able to get through. They closed down Abilene's other BOA location and this location closed their drive-thru. Go with another bank. Customer service with BOA has really gone downhill over the years. They want you to do everything online. Guarantee after I post this, an automatic reply will be posted asking that I contact BOA customer service through either Facebook or Twitter which is just unbelievable. For a bank to refer you to a social media site for customer service is beyond irresponsible, both for security concerns and for any of your customers who either choose not to engage in social media, don't have access to it or who may not understand it. Way to alienate a portion of your customers BOA.

Hi, I need to get 2 things done here today.First, I would like to complain to the staff who helped me with my business on Saturday. Because of her negligence, it has a great impact on me. he didn't sign my cashier's check. My house transfer yesterday was not completed as scheduled. This incident caused me to take time off work today and drive another three hours back and forth to get here, disrupting all my plans. My round-trip fuel expenses, leave and salary reduction expenses, etc. Bank support is required. Compensate me. My wife was very angry yesterday. yesterday we were angryBecause we are very happy to have bought a house. As a bank worker, this is a serious job error. lNeed your explanation; Secondly, please help me complete the remittance, our house is one step away now

Deposited $5,000 into the ATM. The ATM failed and said something along the lines of "sorry, we can't return your money." It ate $5,000, much like you'd expect from an arcade with broken machines. The bankers inside the building were unable to help, and said to call the number - as the local ATMs attached to the building are seemingly run by a third party. The fact that you have to call a customer service representative on the other side of the country to submit a ten day "investigation" to get back cash that you just deposited into a building with a dozen BoA employees working inside - that's a problem.I'm beginning to wonder why anyone, including myself, would stick with BoA as opposed to another bank that takes it seriously when their machine steals several thousand dollars.

I get better support on the phone not going to lie. No wonder all of the Bank of America branches have closed in Abilene. Why even bother. All the questions I had were also answered in the lobby without any privacy and a bunch of people staring at us. Also, the TLDR is we can’t help you, and the person that could get you a list of requirements that could help wasn’t there.

This is the bank I use and I've had my account for over a year now. I just wished they had more than one branch office in Abilene.

Tell everyone how you were so awful to my elderly Mother after losing her husband. Tell everyone how you tried to steal his money. Only a fool would use this "bank".

One teller and 5 personal bankers! Line is around 20 people deep. They clearly need more staff, if you have the excuse of can't find anyone, pay them more and you will find them.

I’m a new customer trying to set up an appointment but no one ever answers the phone.

One teller with 5 people in line waiting. No sense of urgency here for customer service.

After years of banking, it's time to switch to a local bank. Abysmal customer service, always one teller per 5 customers every time I walk in, while other banks have 5 tellers easily per one customer even during COVIDTerrible and outdated bank policies compared to other local banks. It's ridiculous when you can't even deposit $1 for your mother when she "does not have you on her account". Other competitors do not require this mundane policy.End of rant, queue in the generic response from corporate:

Their ATM literally stole my money, after going inside the bank the lady inside said they couldn’t open the ATM since they use a third party provider for their machine. She told me to contact support, I was credited the amount lost, after their investigation they couldn’t find my deposit even though the footage shows me putting money in their ATM and the credit was deducted from my account (I even contacted the CFPB, and Bank of America regulatory service never answers my calls even though they told me to contact them with extensions.) Aside from this event, their system for clerk-teller deposit is outdated, majority of the time tellers manually count your deposits instead of using a teller cash recycler (TCR) causing lines within the bank to be stagnant most of the time. All in all looking forward to close my account solely due to this branch. tl;dr shady ATM’s, concierge doesn’t care if you lose money, tellers are slow.

Called multiple times with no answer. The bank looks virtually shut down during the summer because grass grows through the cracks of the parking lot and no drive thru banking because they are going digital. I would rather trust a liquor store in the hood with my finances.
