I’ve gone in with my brother-in-law two times and have felt like he has been targeted for some reason by a member of the staff. The cashier couldn’t get the spelling of his first name right (which isn’t even hard, literally spelled how it sounds) and he had to repeat himself multiple times before she finally gave up and asked for his license. He is fresh out of school and didn’t have his license on him since it’s still on the way in the mail. He has bought MULTIPLE products and tools from them throughout his schooling so they have his permit number and schooling information in their system. Conveniently, his records were no longer in the system which is absolutely bizarre, and the woman told him she could not sell to him because he is not a “licensed cosmetologist.” His permit number is the same as his license number so i’m just confused as to why he was refused service as a licensed professional instead of her trying to fix the problem for him and resolve the issue with their system. I’m not sure if it’s racially motivated on the employees end but this is unacceptable. My brother-in-law is a very sweet and shy guy and would never write a review or make a complaint about what has happened but encouraged me to write a review so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is kept clean, organized, and has a nice selection. I would like to see more prices on items though so I know what I am spending.
