Good place to just stop and have a whistle. No catcalls allowed though or WPD will toss you in the back of a patrol car faster than you can scratch that loosing one dollar lottery ticket you just purchased.

I pop in here when I'm driving through. The staff is very friendly, and the fried chicken surprisingly good.

Breakfast selection is better than anything you'll find to-go on this end of town. Just be careful with the lunch menu. The prices on the overhead menu sometimes differ (are cheaper) than what you get charged for. 6pc Wings were showing as 6.49 - I ordered buffalo wings, they gave me what was left and didn't realize until later that I only got five pieces and but charged 6.99. I heard a man come in and complain about getting shorted on an order before, so I'm sure it happens often enough. The women in the morning aren't rude, but "friendly" doesn't come up in any of my top ten descriptors. Transactions here in the morning feel like you've interrupted someone who was about to walk out for a smoke break. The good news is, the Marathon next door has had a change of hands and received many updates, with more breakfast and lunch offerings coming soon.

Nice store, lady waited on me once very nice. But went in there on the 7th of January, 2023 a gentleman, I think owner very unfriendly wouldn't smile and rude. That kind of attitude makes me not want to go back. I go by how I'm treated when I go into place of business. I worked with public for years so I know how to treat people.

I have changed my review from 5 stars to 3. I stopped in this morning to get breakfast before work, and got a Chocolate milk along with a chicken biscuit. Well I opened and took a big gulp of the milk, and it tasted like buttermilk with perfume in it. The date expired 3 days ago on 9/7/22. I took it back and the new one they handed me had an expiration date of 9/20/22. It seems that some cheapskate was trying to push the bad one out the door and make a profit rather than pull it from the shelf. Or someone was just lazy and wasn't checking dates. It's stuff like this that really gets under my skin and makes me not want to go back there.
