From the amazing handmade food items to the packaged meat in the back, they have everything you could need. 100% recommend this place, and I always go in when we are in town. “Me and my boyfriend were in Lexington for a couple of days and wanted Mexican food. We thought we would try this place since it was near our hotel. It was some of the most delicious food I have ever had. We both ordered combo plates. They were so good and the portions were large that we couldn't finish them. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. The service was great, we were seated right away and our food came out quite fast. The prices were very reasonable! We will definitely come back to Lexington for this food!”
“I have to tell you a short story. When I was a very young child my Dad used to shop at a store called Railway Salvage. I loved going in there because you never knew what you would find as theys stocked the store by going to auctions supplied by railway and truck accidents.So the stock was constantly changing and stuff was priced way below in store prices.Highway 22 Salvage is cut from the same cloth.The selection was wide and let me tell you...the prices were absolutely great.They had the absolute best selection of salad dressings that I have ever seen in any store any where. Truly amazing!!They had dressings that I have never seen before. $1.00 each AND they were BOGO!! WOW!!Cold soft drink cans for $.50 each.I went in just to look and wound up buying two bags full.The selection was amazing right along with the prices!!! I have to say I will be going back if for no other reason but to see what's new.If you're dollar conscious , and who isn't these days, this is the place to go for great selections and AMAZING prices!!!I give this place my highest rating of five stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!$!$!I'll be back!!!”

“Every time we come to TN from FL, one of our staple meals while in town is the fried chicken they have available. IMO, it's better than the local big chicken chain. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful.”
“First time shopping here but I have a feeling we will be back soon! The sweet white corn was perfection! Had a delicious tomato with some new potatoes, along with the corn for dinner as soon as we brought it all home. Blackberry peach cobbler is currently cooling on the counter for later. Beautiful produce! We are excited to try the J&J breakfast sausage and looking forward to buying some local dairy products next time.”
“Great little "camp store".It's only open during the summer months, no gas.... so it's a bit inconvenient if you need weekly supplies.Good selection of "stuff"!Feels like it's still stuck in the 50's?Could use a remodel?”
“We have two different Dollar Generals both within 10 to 15 minutes from our house either or other way we love the one in the country that way we don't have to get out into town sometimes both convenient sometimes slightly longer waiting times and nice stuff will be back”
“One of my favorite gas stations to stop at the employees are always friendly the chicken is amazing. They have this pizza pocket that is too die for a little spicy but delicious. The best thing about this place is they have a drive through window so you do have to get out of your car. It's great if you have sleeping babies in the car.”
“Just used the pharmacy but they are always helpful and even though my medicine wasn't quite ready I finished my shopping and got notified that it was ready sooner than they said. Well done!!!”

“Me and my boyfriend were on our way home from Tennessee vacation and all of a sudden my entire bumper falls off the back of my car. We were worried as we have 4 hours left on our trip. We went to the dollar general to get something to make it stay and the worker comes out with zip ties and puts my car back together. Her name is Heather Young. She was so sweet and really did us a huge favor!!”
